I have never ran this but if you did want to I have seen some use a thing tape strip to cover the 5V line. Or as mentioned below you can also remove the outer cover and cut the connection of the 5v line.
@@ModBotArmy the ender 6 seems to like put power on the 5V and that makes it that the printer sometimes just doesn't power on properly. i really want to use octoprint but i don want to fry it or my printer. i saw another youtuber using a blocker between the printer board and the pi. thought maybe you know were to find this, is it save to just disconnect/cut the 5V?
Does this work on a Creality CR10S Pro V2 ?
Should not be an issue. Just connect over USB.
@@ModBotArmy Actually after researching online the CR10 / CR10s pro v2 seems to have problem with it. People reporting gantry crashing into various places, so definitely not something you want to recommend to people without them looking into it !
Has anybody installed a Pi on a Lerdge board???
No link for the pi :/
I've read a few comments here that they sell out quickly so the advise someone wrote is to go to the official pi website and get links there. It can't be that hard to Google some shops tho.
2023 and a pi2 is $100+ :(
Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W can now be bought new for $15! Just got my first Pi ever.
too bad its sold out :(
PSST! Pi Zero 2W ;)
lol updated. Thank you :)
I still think pi zero w 2 makes more sense
R PI foundation dun goofed
I was searching for w2 and nothing was coming up when trying to buy one
W 2 makes more sense IMO
So I took the plug and ended up getting a pi zero w which may have been a mistake. I got an error message from Octoprint saying this pi is and never will be supported. It did seem to connect but now not sure I should stick with it. Guess I need to now upgrade to a 2W. Anyone using the pi zero w?
@@jerseybarrier64 have you tried using an older version of the octoprint image? maybe Daniel could suggest one?
@@andreamitchell4758 thanks and no have not. The board is working but sounds like I may run in to stability issues. This is all new to me (thanks Daniel ;) )
