I eventually want to go on UA-cam I just want to gain more attraction on podcasts episodes first before coming on UA-cam because my friends have told me to create a UA-cam channel as well with like day to day stuff bts scenes for episodes and actual episodes I’m only 15 and I started my podcast in June I’m almost at 300 plays and I’m 17 states and 8 different countries God has been helping me out a lot but thank you guys before for responding maybe by the the end of the year I will be on UA-cam but I don’t know if I should name it my podcast Let’s Get Into it or my personal name because I don’t want it to just be podcast episodes sorry I know I typed a lot just a train of thought lol
@@mercyappiah3272 That's a great number of plays so far. What else are you doing for promotion?? UA-cam definitely takes a lot of work and a lot of extra hours, but I'm just so passionate about it because there are strategies that you can actually put to use to get put in front of people.
@@podsoundschool For other promotion I basically use Instagram and Snapchat and try to send it to my friends. Yes, I now youtube will be helpful and I eventually want to move their I just want to drop a little bit more episodes and see where my Podcast is at the end of the year before I transfer to UA-cam. I know right! I tried everything I could to not be on camera. If you looks at our older videos, we animated ourselves so we didn’t have to be on camera. UA-cam and even social media are definitely going to favor content with your face. What concerns you the most about being on camera?

Just started a podcast this month and my question is, what are the best/easiest methods for posting podcast on youtube when your cohost are in different states? I've started editing in premiere pro but it is time consuming as we record with zoom.
It can always be time consuming to edit, but premiere is a great way to go. We did a video about a really cool solution: ua-cam.com/video/5PwV2iLUuLE/v-deo.html. Another thing I know works well for some podcasters is to broadcast Live to UA-cam using Streamyard or something similar. Then you can trim the videos a bit and optimize them for search.

This was really motivating Steve. I really had the idea of making videos on UA-cam but many of my Indian You tuber friends said that this platform is not like before ..The pay offs do not start quickly .. And again I was a bit discouraged when I launched my podcast on Anchor as Anchor doesn't pay foreigners .. It only pays the Americans. I love Anchor though .. And I do understand that not everything is abt the money .. My podcast Life is a porn is doing really well .I have more than a Thousand Listens and a good amount of subscribers and all this in just 4 recordings lol ... But where money is concerned I'm and Alien in space lmao.. Any ways regards to Ur better half I missed her on today's episode u two make a perfect couple and an Awsome host .. You're right though, UA-cam does pay off relatively quickly, if you're willing to put in a bunch of hours and a little pain and torture getting cozy in front of the camera. I like Anchor too. You shouldn't worry about being paid from Anchor. Even here where you get paid, it's a very small amount and only begins after you start receiving a minimum of 1000 downloads PER EPISODE.

Thanks for watching. There are tons of creative ways, most of them require a bit more work. The easiest way to get started is to simply record video of your podcast. Then you can take that video and chop it up into a smaller pieces and creatively make UA-cam videos.

Wouldn't uploading an audio-only podcast to UA-cam be a bit underwhelming though? i am planning on starting a podcast soon with a couple of friends but we never really thought about filming it, just audio recording it. Wouldnt UA-cam "require" podcasts to have video to be more successful maybe? what are your thoughts?
Great question! Underwhelming is a great word! Typically people on UA-cam are here for video not audio. So if you really want to grow a channel uploading audio usually doesn't perform that well. You can use a service like headliner.app for free and turn your episodes into audiograms. But even audiograms don't usually help your channel to grow. A good place to start is behind the scenes videos, bloopers, or nice little video clips from your episodes. If you use keyword research tools like Keyword Surfer for google, or TubeBuddy for UA-cam, you can find out what people are searching for.

Hello there! We started our podcast channel back in March. Last week we were at approximately 1k in watch Time. Somehow this week we’re now at approximately 750 minutes. Does anyone have any clue as to why this has happened? If so what do we need to do to stop it from happening?
I think that's pretty usual. Watch time is constantly fluctuating. Your channel looks great, just keep up the good work and you'll keep growing. You might also consider making some shorter videos that just cover one of the topics you discuss in your episodes. Those will have a better chance of ranking and being suggested, especially at first.

Hello there! We started our podcast channel back in March. Last week we were at approximately 1k in watch Time. Somehow this week we’re now at approximately 750 minutes. Does anyone have any clue as to why this has happened? If so what do we need to do to stop it from happening?
I think that's pretty usual. Watch time is constantly fluctuating. Your channel looks great, just keep up the good work and you'll keep growing. You might also consider making some shorter videos that just cover one of the topics you discuss in your episodes. Those will have a better chance of ranking and being suggested, especially at first.
Okay, thank you!!! We will definitely try the shorter videos. I think in the beginning we would just get really excited and want to cover EVERYTHING lol.
