Literally washed a jacket with grease stains through 2 cycles before and it didn’t come off. Was able to get the grease stains off FINALLY with this method. Thank you so much!
I just keep a little spray bottle of DAWN dish soap and water. Spray on the clothes as a pre-treatment and toss in the hamper. The stains will come out in the wash.
Dude you just saved my new Nike sweater. I’ve only owned it for a few days and I was shocked to see some grease stains on it after having dinner. I was about ready to retire the sweater I just bought 😭 but to my surprise this ACTUALLY works. Sweater looks brand spanking new again! Thank you very much man 🫡 🤝
It worked 🎉❤, thanks bro. I had oil stains on my shirt, before also I tried some methods from youtube they did not work. 10-20% stain still there but it is not visible immediately. Thanks again. 😊
My question is is it OK if I put that in with other laundry or do I have to wash it by itself? I have a couple shirts that I would like to get washed and I believe it is oil stains. I really don’t have time to just do one or two loads with just one or two items in it. Let me know as soon as possible and this looks like a hack that I could definitely do thank you for posting this.
I put tide directly onto a stain to pre teat 2 spots on my shirt(coffee stains). It came out with detergent stains on it. Not only that shirt, but one of my others, as well. The blue detergent stained it and left what looks like grease spots all over my shirt. Gonna try this method and hopefully it doesn’t get worse 😭
Trying to get a RED lipstick stain from a cream colored suit jacket 😭 i used dawn and it mostly came out but still a small smudge, now i think i ruined the jacket tho as its discolored now ugh. Ive been scouring the internet on how to remove a stain from a suit jacket and theres nothing! 😢
Hi there! I have a black Nike sports shoe with a large sunflower oil stain on the tip. What do you can recommend me about this, please? I am also afraid of shoe losing its black color there if I do anything :/
I have a black cotton hoodie, and someone banged up against me with warm liquid butter. A lot soaked in. I'm concerned about using the items you mention, because I can almost bet there would be a worse stain.
@@Ben_Land Soaps are surfactants. You hear the term, ‘grease’ used in kitchens, or commercial areas, like grease trap or grease arrester (solids separator); and then you have mechanical lubricant grease. Mechanical grease once impregnated into clothes fibres is nearly impossible to remove, and requires specific solvents; but cooking oils (fats) that have hardened into a grease like consistency in commercial kitchens environments is still removable by surfactants with a bit of elbow grease. When I remove lubricant grease from surfaces; I use a different degreaser than I would if I remove hydraulic oil, and it also goes to say that when these hydrocarbons are on either concrete or steel, then certain degreasers are better than others. I have clothes with grease stuck in them and not even white spirits will dissolve it out from the clothes. I’ve seen many an industrial oil separator not separate oil at all, solids are easier to separate from water than liquid oils or fats.

You gotta love with stuff like this works!
What I need? Baking soda, shampoo and the other one what is that?
Is this method subjective to any specific fabric? Or works on any thing
Should work the same on all fabrics.
Can you do this for black cloths? thanks

What if it’s a good waterproof jacket that was washed first… oil is basically permanently embedded in it
Omg this works I did not have baking soda, so I was reluctant that this would work, but it actually did work
I know it surprised me too!
So it works even without baking soda
Does it work on any color of clothes ?? Like blue ?

Yes!
Too complicated! Just put baby powder or corn starch or flour on top!
Thanks for the tip!
Perfect, but please everyone use unscented dawn as the dyes and fragrances are full of toxic chemicals and those get in our waterways… 😮
Yes!
I've been using washingup liquid for years with a toothbrush. Hope you put more washing in than just the tee-shirt!
Don't worry I did a full load.
Plz tell me you didn’t do a whole load with only 1 shirt 😂
But TY!!! Ganna try!

That is not grease. That is oil. Two completely different things.
HUGE mistake. My bad!
