Ey up Andrew. Just found your channel, after recently finding Steve's. Chuffed to see this with the pair of you. Never really explored the Peak District (Dales and Lakes have taken the glory) despite being a South Yorkshire lad and living in Matlock for a good few years. Your videos have made this area an absolute must for us. Thank you and I look forward to not only future videos but also the back catalogue.
Walking in a winter wonderland there Andrew. I said to myself I bet Jacob’s is treacherous in those conditions. That coffee deal sounds spot on. Think I’ll give a go. I’ve still been using my tetra dripper which I like but I do like a coffee bag too. 👍🏼
That was brilliant Andy 👍🏼 I’d love to give that a bash, but I reckon I’d have to rely too much on tech to navigate off in that weather 🙄 prob end up lost 🤦♂️ I had a ‘Hazy Jane’ with you. You reminded me I had one in the fridge cheers 🍻 Gary B
Yes bud watched all the way through ... I need to get my nallo 2 out here! Trying to find a gap in my diary is tough atm! Keep them coming, great watching pal.
Well I’ve been looking forward to this one Andy… 📺 😉 Great video as usual and nice to see you out with those fine men too, looked a great camp is some NIIICCEE Kinder weather 🤩✨
This is real winter. Great to watch ❤ Sometimes I miss the winter we use to have when i was yong.We did not have any snow or frost at all jet😢 Thanks for the nice watch 😊😊😊
Great bunch of lads, love the attitude of 'fatha'! What a great camp that was! I keep saying it, but the snow just puts a whole layer of adventure to the wild camp! Andrew thankyou for sharing!
Spot on Andy , them conditions looked great, the Trailstar looked like it was nearly buried 🤣 looked like it handled the snow load well, and Steve’s masterclass curry looked just the meal for a winters night👌 great video, atb Mick 👍
That looked a great camp in winter conditions with two great gents...the meal looked fantastic...even though no views the winter landscape made up for that...many thanks and best wishes
Can you hire Stephen to come cook for you? Proper looking grub that. The snow really adds to the drama of a place, and well shown in this video. thanks for taking us with you. ATB, Roger

Ace. I used to live just below Kinder Low End at south Head Farm! You need to watch Going Solo as he always cooks proper food - steak etc!

Cheers Andy cracking😊
When do you use crampons over micro spikes and do you use walking poles
Did u have to teach em to speak "Yorkshire" "Rotherham"???
We all just used Google translate on each other. Worked a treat 👍
i got them both using the yorkshire slang lol..lived in Barnsley all my life.
a few seconds in and don't those trees look gorgeous against the white?
Please try bivi camping this winter
you just want to see me suffer 😉😂
Hahaha maybe but bivi camping is always fun 😂
What's your fav food ?
dont think ive got a favourite food tbh..i do like a good lasagne or a chilly..
I love chilly two 😂
I do love sausages though 😂
I don't think the name "Jacobs ladder" is true ancient placenames. It's a creepy name.
its named after jacob marshall who built it in the 19th century..i believe his descendants still live in edale.
How do you manage to bury your "business" when the grounds frozen? I fear a lot will just throw snow over it...😔
Stick in a dog poo bag and carry it out
its very rare ill need to "dig a hole" when on one nighters..multi night trips then yes but yes dig the hole & always bury..
Wag bag n pack out👍🏼
