TotalNoob not spectating :(
Omg no!!
Your videos are the first videos I watch every day when I get off of work. Keep up the great content. I will never say no to an elephant gambit.
Oh, the 3:00 mark here had me cracking up. This is the *only* opponent Johnathan has *ever* played against that was able to calculate through the lines of the elephant gambit, correctly determine that he would be worse after it played out, and find one of the best moves to bail out. First time *ever.*
...then, at 3:00, he lost a rook to the most basic type of discovery tactic, with the knight and the rook. 😂
Hey Jonathan, hypothetically speaking: Do you think that if you ever returned to serious classical chess, you would be able to achieve the FM title or higher? Or do you feel like you hit your ceiling while you were still playing tournaments?
ahhh dont listen to those comments, I'm not one for commenting on videos but I appreciate your dedication and consistency even as a father, it most not be easy on some days but I appreciate your videos and your personality. Keep on going
insane acting work with those knight sacs if it was a otb blitz game you deffintly would have tricked him
Elephant gambit goes brrr
Thank you for the extra long analysis at the end, its my favorite part of the chess videos
Me on my way to watch the 47th Bc4 elephant gambit in a row:
vampirechicken excited for 0.9 advantage in the endgame? what a rare treat!
i really like your videos, thank you for making them
So addicted to your videos! Keep it up!
Hey Jonathan, any tips for what to do after Qe2 instead of d4?
Love your content man, but to be fair the ending of that other video was pretty painful!!! More like feeling your pain though as we’ve all been there
Could watch Elephant Gambit all day long
I also liked your video on the French defense
Thanks for the great content!
I thought you reading those comments aloud in the context you set up was very funny 😁
Ahhhhhhh... The soothing sounds of the UA-cam voice as the mighty Elephant wins again!
I myself was shocked, shocked!, that you used the elephant gambit again
Good stuff man. Have a great one
It's not him, it's the opponents. Imagine playing e4;Nf3 unprepared!
1:00
"which loses immediately"
hysterical laughter
1:42 also there’s knight takes d4
Don't mind me. Just wholesomely commenting to add some wholesome wholesomeness to the channel.
1:40
after the "bailout", the mayhem continues
Hahaha!!! The acting!!!! I love it!!!
3:02 Nd6+ gives time to take with the a pawn
Your eric rosen impression made me lol.
The problem with this is that many opponents play 2 bc4 .
I don't believe that it was all negative comments, we all love dubious openings.
Jonathan have you had a chance to play FM William Graif yet??
They are both chicken.
Anderson mate? opera house mate ?
You don't need to chill out; you seem to be a pretty well-balanced performer!
I’ve played over a dozen elephant gambits recently, and none of my opponents take both pawns. While I’m usually winning nonetheless, I’m beginning to think that the opponents in these videos are paid actors.
That’s the opera mate. The Andersen mate is when the bishop gives the check. Much rarer mate.
it would e funny if you played the elephant gambit in an elephant costume
is TotalNoob69 okay ? I really miss him
are you okay?
GG but need more acting classes
This guy is a bully! Haha
This was one of the most painful things I've ever witnessed. Ouch. Bro, you need to chill out.
Who dares criticize The Schrantz? I do hope you pay them no mind, sir. They can go suck up to Magnus and Hikaru and stay in the chess corner where everything ends in stalemates. You know, "perfect chess".
another one, as usual
