The mother was pure evil, abusive, and didn’t allow her daughter to LEAVE. Gypsy had the mind of a child. All she knew was her mother’s lies and the influence of this man on the internet. The man wanted to get rid of the mother, and of course she wasn’t against it. Being mentally stunted, she’s not thinking of the consequences. To say you would understand it more if she killed her mother in a fit of rage makes no sense. Not every abusive situation is like that. She’s a victim, period. I’m glad she can finally live a normal life.
Exactly!!! Every VICTIM is not going to go through and react to their trauma/abuse the same. Doesn’t mean we should judge how a victim who reacts differently than we would. “Only if she reacted Like This then id understand!”???

Right! It was literally self defense her mother was horribly abusing her and sedating her with medications. A lot of people understand she didnt see any other way out of her situation, and found her sentencing (7yrs) unjust. Since it’s * such a sensitive topic around abuse, I do wish there was someee research done beforehand 😒
Victim or not she still planned her mother's death resulting in her getting stabed like 17 times to death, what her mother did to her doesn't excuse the crime she committed. She's not entirely a victim after that point and Idk why people are excuseing it and commending her...

I MOVED all my shit out of my shared home with my man while he was at work and he came home to an empty house😂 and I moved in with a friend ( a girl, no weird shit lol) for a few weeks while pregnant as hell, just to move back in and marry him and still married 15 years later. Lol 😂 we all been there, done that.

i completely agree with the gypsy situation.. if she was able to get in contact with a stranger on the internet she could've contacted the police or a stranger to actually help her out of there instead of plan a murder. an act of rage is way more understandable because that would be gypsy herself committing the crime.. not finding someone online to help her kill her mom instead of help get the authorities involved.

So unfortunately young men with money no matter if they grew up with it or not . Especially young black men think the money and expensive gifts on a regular is “enough” and they don’t understand the point of effort and doing it up special for birthday , Christmas, valentines because they spoil us year around . I would let him know you appreciate how much he shows his affection in gift giving and just want to see more effort on special holidays etc . I would definitely be hurt to for sure so your feelings are valid.

As someone who goes above and beyond for people I care about, I understand feeling hurt about someone you expect to do the same for you. Anger seems like it's so easy for you Winter, but you can be assertive without being aggressive. For example like you did with Chy about the birthday cake you hated.

If you read up on the details of the Gypsy and Deedee story it’s more understandable why people are rooting for her. She was a 16 year old who thought she was 13, whose mom told everyone she had the brain of a 6 year old. She wasn’t socialized the same as other women in her position. I also think there are people who think she should’ve never been convicted and others who understand the conviction but just really are happy to see her finally have a chance to live life.
Love y’all but I just feel like winter is too quick to judge situations she’s never been in. How the heell is she gonna say how someone who went through something so traumatizing at the hands of their MOTHER, should react to such evilness. Even if she killed her mom herself it would’ve been premeditated. Don’t know that it would’ve mattered either way. She just says things so matter of factly it’s annoying.

No I agree with Winter. It was about his generosity and thoughtfulness, not the cost. You will literally get what you allow from a man and those are her standards.
There's pros and cons to all of it. Most her relationships end in cheating, lies, aren't sustainable for a long term relationship. Also some of these nfl players are really actually slow af and dumb as rocks from focusing only on sports and can't do anything for them selves so are vulnerable to women taking them for everything they worth. This is her lifestyle. I hope she finds the exception and is happy
To me if Gypsy rose is getting free then Mendez brothers should be released as well. Gypsy and Mendez brothers were both victims as horrendous abuse that I can’t fathom. To think about how bad their psychological has to be that the only way out they see is murder. I do believe she needs intense therapy. she is a real person who suffered so much and I think she deserves privacy. It’s just a completely complex situation

Chy I’m a Scorpio but I actually feel I overshare and always wear my heart on my sleeve. I rarely get the same energy back. So much that later ppl have used what I was vulnerable to them about to out weigh a situation or prove a point. Or when I reach out for help and ppl take it as that’s my final form and find a way to judge me about it later. Many later end up having ulterior motives behind helping. In 2024 I’m just shutting tf up FR.

I’m honestly glad gypsy rose is getting out.. she deserved to go to prison but not for the rest of her life. She already had half her life stolen by her psycho mom and even said she not mad she going to prison because she feels more freedom in jail then she did living under her mother. I get what ur saying winter but it was an act of rage. Her moth stole everything from her, the one person she trusted and loved in the whole world betrayed her in the most sickening way… but even with that she probably couldn’t bring herself to do it herself so she convinced her boyfriend to do it. I definitely think she needs to go into some sort of transitional living house, I’m sure she’s been in therapy all these years in prison but she’s never lived a normal life so to just let her out on her own is almost cruel.
