If trans people want to compete, there should be a trans category. Women should not have to compete against biological males that can't do well against other biological males. I totally disagree with all these claims that their should be a "trans" category. There are ONLY TWO genders, full stop. Think of the extra expense and management issues for organisers if they now have to have 3 categories in every competition. And then somebody will say there should be a separate category for trans men, and for trans women. So now we're up to 4 categories. And then the next moron declares themselves not identifying with any of those 4 categories, you MUST start a new category for me! Where does it end? Do not kowtow to these idiots one inch, because it will never stop. . there are only 2 genders, biologically and scientifically provable. If you decide to "become a woman" you must accept that when you make that decision there are sacrifices that come with it. Your sport may be one of them. The world does not have to bend to give you everything you want because of a decision you made.

I hold the position that all voices matter and try to form my opinions based on experts in the field, of which Riley Gaines is one. I'm not transphobic and have never actually met anyone who is transgender but if it gives that person a biological gender advantage then it is unfair at face value. We operate both mens and woman sports as it was deemed unfair for men to compete with women. They have a biological gender advantage. Gaines is right, it's unfair for people who are trans to compete with biological women. Create a third category.

It's unconscionable to me, that any human being thinks it should be acceptable for female athletes to compete with males. What these females athletes have been subjected to is multi-layered. Women have fought so hard just to be recognized in their respective sport. Her raw emotions should speak volumes to anyone who does not agree with this extremely difficult issue.
