Ever since I was a young girl of 5 I remember Rowdy from Rawhide and that is when I fell in love with Clint Eastwood. My most favorite actor of all time.

I consider myself fortunate to have grown up with the Westerns on TV: Rawhide, Bonanza, Wagon Train, Gunsmoke (Matt Dillon was my first crush), and John Wayne and Elvis at the movies. I've borrowed a lot of Rawhide dvds from the library. When I was young I had a crush on Rowdy Yates; now I have a crush on Gil Favor. They're both easy on the eyes. :-) Love their facial expressions. I watched a clip on UA-cam of Clint tickling the ivories (those long arms and fingers!). And that smooth voice.
I can't believe there aren't any covers of this one. Would've loved to hear a Dino or Cash version. And I always tip my hat to amateurs who covers western songs!
