Thank you Mike! Ya the last 30% on the S22 is basically useless lol mind you I also forgot to mention the extreme speed throttling on the s22 which was the last couple miles before the extreme tilt back so realistically the wheels got the same and T4 had no throttling!
@@EUCWayOfLife with all the issues surrounding the s22 over the past several months it was a no-go for me anyway and I got the Master. However I was thinking of also getting the T4 but it's getting the same range that an S18 got for me so I'll hold off on it and just stick with the Master for now once mine gets fixed. I can see why you're GF likes the T4 better than the s22.
@@mikeintampa250 being 20+lbs lighter than a master and quite a bit smaller I would recommend it. When comparing to an s18 think about these things, 1 WAY more power, 2 better range at higher speeds, 3 faster charger out of the box, 4 better suspension, 5 longer smoother suspension travel, 6 flat sides making it more universal for pads, 7 easier seated riding, 8 has a display that's in imperial, 9 more comfortable imo, 10 nearly modular for working on, replacing the tire or the battery packs.
Not sure if its fixed but if you have your wheel set to MPH in Begode app and try to use EUC world, it reads the speeds wrong at least for me. You might try changing the wheel to KPH in begode app and then running EUC world with the wheel selection you were told to try. EUC World will still show MPH but your wheel screen will be in KPH. Maybe a FW update fixes this but so far its how Im riding. Its also allowing me to get good at converting KPH in my head lol
Wow I didn't know the Begode app tracked mileage like that. Especially how much is remaining on a low battery. COOL! And yep, I think this may very be my next wheel. Gonna hold off til next spring to get one though. Make sure there's no major whacky scenarios like what's been going on with recent releases
See people keep saying that BUT think about it this way, the board, firmware and batteries are basically pulled from previous 100v models like the RS and hero, the suspension is pulled from the master which has been significantly refined since I had mine. In that sense there is not much new about this wheel other than the motor AND unlike Kingsong Begode really isn't known for motor issues more board issues. This is why I keep saying I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. Master new voltage comes problems, s22 new voltage and haulless haul sensor comes problems, this wheel basically a rs19 or hero but better lol I'd get your hands on one if you could but that's just me 😉
@@EUCWayOfLife I've got 3 right now...a Nikola AR+, my lovely 16x and an S18 that I enjoy but the range makes me sad. It's a shame, too. Such a sexy looking wheel
So basically an RS in terms of range. Not too shabby I guess. I hoped for something a bit closer to 60 miles, but my guess is that 50 is achievable on this one at modest speeds.
I was thinking the same. 16" wheel less powerful motor that it would easily be a 50-60mi wheel at 25mph or so... A bit disappointing but overall I love the wheel and wouldn't change the weight for more range
I think that's slightly less than my rs ht though can go slightly faster.. isn't the t4 a high speed motor but because a smaller wheel still torque? Not sure as torque as rs ht though
@@justinspirational yes significantly more fun. Okay I'll put it how I put it in my video. The T4 has power loads of power that's REALLY easy to access and quick at low speed and on hills at low speeds, the RST has power but not until about 6-8mph imo and has that power at any speed. It's like driving a supercharged car(t4) vs a turbo car with lag. The turbo can build more power and has a long wider range of power or better power band where as the supercharger i.e. T4 has the power readily available at low speeds but can't achieve as much power or as much at higher speeds. So for what I do the T4 is a better wheel for what you do that may not be the case.
Thanks for the great video. Being 6'3" and 220lb myself, I wanted to see how far it will go. I've got 4000 miles on my MSP HT and I've been able to squeak 50+ miles out a full charge, so I would say that the T4 is going to be the winning ticket. I was also concerned about the size being so tall and the smaller 16" wheel. Correct me if I'm wrong, it didn't seem to be a problem for you. Can you comment on that please? / PS: I may actually wait until the T4 Pro comes out to buy, because we all know it's coming. LOL! I would love to have this wheel with a 80 mile range. Cheers!
I don't bieve there will be a T4 pro it will put it back in the weight with the master regular which people would rather have the master. I'm not sure what you mean by size being so tall but it being a 16"? Like for stability? I don't believe it's an issue. You can't really "tell" it's a 16" wheel if you ride it side by side with a s18 it feels like an s18 with much more power. Even has about the same pedal height.
The problem with Begode coming out with about 5 wheels in a year...there are so many variations in voltage and battery numbers that if they decided to make one into a pro version it would basically mimic a different wheel already out. I would imagine if you wanted a T4 pro, the hero or master would do it better. At least that's how I see it. I haven't tried all these new wheels so I have no clue. But it seems the wheels were separated by quite a bit of differences last year. Then suspension wheels hit the ground and Begode came out with a whole lineup. It probably helped a lot of people find the perfect for them but it left little room for improvement as far as voltage and range.
very interesting video- i learn a lot from it . i need more width on the pedal . I have the S22 and I try to stand on it and my feet are killing me . I see there are after market options with wider pedals .
It's not the pedals it's your shoes and your body needing to get used to the wheel and riding. If I ride my t4 for weeks on end I'll get fatigue (foot pain) switching shoes or even wheels. Obviously super small pedals like the s18 are different. I wear a size 13 just fyi.

With the battery sag and recovery on these wheels, Im curious about this: If you stopped every couple miles and let the sag recover, would the range be better than riding the sag and letting it decrease say 50% of your battery before you take a break? It seems like if you let them sag for an hour straight, they dont recover as much as if you were to stop every 10 minutes and let the sag recover. Not sure if that makes sense but I wonder if you can finesse the wheels like that to get the maximum amount of range from them.
I guess that would put you into the scenario of stop and go in your car. Do you get better range if you cruise at an efficient speed forever or do you get better range if you get stuck in the city and stop at every other light? I do a lot of city and short rides and I'd say it doesn't impact it much but never actually test it
@@EUCWayOfLife but my car doesn't have an electric motor that can convert motion into voltage like the euc can. Hybrids, for example, perform the best in stop and go traffic. Also, batteries definitely recover a bit if you let them sit. the question comes down to if that "bit" is worth the wait in the real world. It's like cranking over a dead car battery, if you let it sit for long enough sometimes it might just have enough to start.
