- We spend a few days at Rowen Craft CL with our friends in May 2024 where the boats calmly and quietly rest in the little marina. We visit the local pubs, The Wherry Inn and The Locks Inn and take a cycle ride along some pretty country lanes.

What a beautiful little CL. Looks so pretty and peaceful and love that area.
Shame about the soft ground - horrible Spring this year down South.
But it still looked wonderful there. And a couple of great looking pubs.

Great vlog.
Been to Rowan Craft twice. Not as wet when you went, still muddy though.
However the second time bad experience, they allow a load of paddle boarders in with bikes as well. They all made their home right next door to our caravan. Cycling round and round our van and shouting.
When I complained saying advertised as a cl not a leisure park, they didn't seem to care.
Not been back. We never complain but this was to much.

Oh that sounds horrible. We didn’t have anything like that. The locals and the boat owners all said hello and were friendly. Perhaps it’s because we went during a quiet mid week when it’s not school holidays. Thanks for letting us know 🙂👍🏻 Trev

It was a great setting. No one about most of the time so it was pretty quiet. Boats bobbing about and birdsong all around us. Very pleasant time there 👍🏻😃 Trev
We definitely want to try this CL. We have been to the locks Inn community Pub and love it when they have events on there, look out in the future for their Dwill Flonking Weekend it's so much fun, old traditional Pub event. Glad to see you can cycle easily there too we must take our bikes when we stay there

We enjoyed the area around beccles the last time we were over some really pretty places really must get over there again! Sounds like you’ve been the same as we have here in the west mids with all the rain it’s been terrible this year we’ve had so many flood alerts it’s untrue here’s to a warmer summer for us all all the best to you all sorry commenting so late been mad busy at work Daniel

Thanks Debs, we love East Anglia but it doesn’t have the dramatic landscapes of other areas. There are some beautiful little villages tucked away and this was certainly one of them. Not long now, we have started to pack the van for Scotland 🏴 😃🚐💙 Trev

This looks like so much fun. The campground looks really nice. Too funny that they were helping you out with the name of the place. You really are geared up nicely. Lovely countryside ride. Such a great way to use the bikes. Friends, pub, cute little town and an awesome bike ride is definitely my idea of a good trip. How fun!

A lovely part of the country for cycling etc. Do you think the site would allow kayak launching?
