- The badge on our Pontiac grille looks faded and worn. These Pontiac emblems sell for about $30.00 new and seem to be readily available. In this episode of Carz Plus we're going to show you how to remove and replace the emblem to help make the grille of your Pontiac Solstice look new.
We'll take you inside the grille with close up pictures and show all the details and tools to get the job done. While we're here, we'll show you a few extras that you might not have been aware of.

I owned a 2007 Solstice GXP new, off the lot. I also own a 2008 Solstice GXP now.
My brand-new 07 Sol GXP had several bolts and fasteners missing in the front fascia, right off the showroom floor.

It is on the bumper, not the grille.
The split grille appeared across the entire Pontiac line including Star Chief, Catalina, Safari, and Bonneville. My guess is that when most people think of the front-end design of the Pontiac, they remember the split grille. "How to Replace the Pontiac Badge on a Solstice Bumper" doesn't search as well as "How to Replace the Pontiac Badge on a Solstice Grille." The latter of the two titles sounds more elegant, although the former might be accurate.
