The 1.6 16v can sport with many of those and even win, only the v6 ones can outperform him by a lot. For a naturally aspirated engine thats really impressive.
@@ArdeleanuMihai The 1.6 16V is actually pretty similiar to the Engine Polo III GTI uses, which i consider one of the best engines VW has ever built and should have further developed instead of giving ppl shitty 1.4 TSI crap whichs pistons all broke into 10k pieces after 35k miles or something....
@@HolyEDBahamuth I have 1.6 petrol, BTS code, in my ibiza, it pulls damn well, but after going over 4000rpm some weird smells come to the cabin, like that its overheating, it got to 96°C few days ago, not sure if that is gonna be a problem. Can i put it in 5000 rpm range with out worrying its gonna blow up the engine? Redline is on like 5800
What is the best motorization for someone who drives very little during the year (mainly on vacation or only on weekends). I‘m seriously considering buying a Golf 4. Thank you!
R32's run around 6 flat to 60 (into the 5's with a tune). But you can tune a GTI to be as quick, so it's mostly engine preference. Although the R32 has a lot more chassis upgrades and differences.

Golf 1.6 16v💪💪
Hell ya bro! That is exactly what I needed lol. Well make video 👌
kinda wild that the SDI actually made some wheel spin :P
4:45 how can you do that with a cold engine?
Broken temperature sensor. Engine is hot in reality, but the defective sensor makes the computer display that the engine is cold
Wow as a golf fan this video is gold
Я не пойму время выставляли так на выбор дизель разгоняется быстрей чем 2.5 бензин
This is all wrong. The rev counter advances by 5 km/h. Your acceleration test was from 0-95 km/h.
Nice 👍👍👍
1:38 omg that is very very slow hooollyyy...
The good one is 1.9 TDI the 130 HP
1.8T is much better
that 1.9 tdi 101hp did it in 9 secs, not in 11.3s
Where???
No Way!
SDI 0-100: maybe

1.6 16V seems like the optimal choice or 1.8 if you want some more power

i have a 1.4 75HP but i bought it with BBS wheels with the golf logo on it... can someone tell me if it was sold like that on any golf 4?
No, maybe on some GTI models but definitly not on the 1.4
1.9Tdi 130hp)
I mean...the 1.4 is not THAT bad. It can put in some work
It's not that bad but it's a little lazy
Why would I buy an r32 when that 2.8 vr6 is just cheaper and is half a second slower
And sounds also good

AWD is probably the biggest reason
Because its an r32 😂
Короче лучше 1.8т и r32 👍

I think the vr6 was 2.8 i 170 horsepower and the r32 was a original v6 with turbo ..
The r32 its N/A and ots have arround 250hp
VR6 never had turbos in stock.
Mk3 VR6 was 174PS for the 2.8, and 190PS for the Euro only 2.9 Syncro...
The R32 was again, NA and no turbos on any of the VR engines...
