Just so satisfying seeing a older car getting some treatment and looking alot alot better near new condition small things can change alot. I can say this car has just increased its value at least by £1000 just by cleaing it. Also that interior was the best thing as we could see how dirty it was speacilly from that dirty water.
Took years off that car. I've binged few of your videos today. Very soothing to watch neglected cars/vans being restored to former glory. Keep the videos coming. Big hello from Ireland 🤚
good for me where I live, we have indoor washing stations with hot water. tried once washing my car at the outdoor station with -10C. :D Stupidest decision ever. soap/foam freezed in seconds.
Beautiful job ,I own a 20year old mk4 golf gti myself in imaculate condition. I used to be a valeter for vw& audi dealership, so I know what hard job it is.
What a good way to end this horrible year with another outstanding transformation. Would like to wish you a happy and healthy New year, look forward to the next transformation 😊
Another amazing transformation. Never fails to amuse me as to how bad people let their wheel rims get and how much of a difference it makes when they actually clean them. Top job, Cheers 👍🏼🙂
That is outstanding just reminds me of when vw first launched the mk4 in 2000, can you please list the products you have used from A to Z it will really help alot
I purchased a mk4 Golf TDI new in 2001, and 393K miles later in 2019, I sold it to make way for a lightly used mk7. I still sometimes wish I had kept the mk4, as I really liked it. It still looked and drove great, but some of the plastics and pieces were just starting to wear out. That, and I got a great price on the mk7. Great job on the detail - it looks like it's got a ton of years left in it.
Great video as always mate, I’ve watched every one. I like how they aren’t over the top yelling etc Have you thought about doing a cleanup/respray of your lift? Might make a good side video
You are a clever business man Having the ability to offer new wheel centers and nut covers (never mind the gentle wheel refurb) must be a car dealers dream. Only thing I would change is painting the calipers black rather than silver (but that's just me)
Great job,, mk4 golf are safe as houses, my V6 4motion is superb, solid and reliable, shame to see them disappear especially the V5 and V6 models, another new subscriber 👍
I'm always amazed by the transformations you achieve, you can tell how high your standards are when you say it's no where near perfect when I look and think that's pretty perfect 😂 hope you've had a good Christmas 👍
Do you have a link anywhere to some of the brushes you use? I have this Golf with the same wheels, and cleaning in there is quite tricky. Worried about scratching but want something stiff enough to get rid of encrusted brake dust and dirt etc
The inner MkIV nerd in me was a lil spooked that the inner fender liner wasn’t removed to see if there was dirt buildup, but dang this made me want to go full deep clean on mine.
what a transformation and love this gen of the Golf. The V5's sounds groovy, if i had one i would use Shell V Fuel super octane gasoline only and no supermarket silicone junky tesco value BS
Thanks 😊 there far from perfect two of them had been “re painted before” and reworking a previous repair is never fun .. in all honestly they needed to be fully stripped, but the customer just wanted a tidy up 👍😁
Tip for your interior cleaning....try Blue Corral Dri-Clean spray cleaner in a blue can. It is the very best cleaner for any surface inside a car. Including seats, mats, dash, door panels etc. Smells fresh too. I have been using it for last 10 years. It leaves no shine, so parts are ready for 303 Aerospace shine product. Cheers!
More great work and narrative thanks Phil! One question, what is the little square red / black edges tool you use on crevases in the upholstery plse?👏👏
Hi David it’s a lily brush used mainly for dog hair and fluff removal 👍😁 drop by Paul doldens detail channel he’s just reviewed a new alternative.. looks even better 👍😁happy new year
Just a word of caution. The ECU on these cars sit directly under the cowling under the wipers. These are great cars, had mine for 11 years, still miss it!
Excellent video. Love that you used a special cleaner around the radio. I always get a little nervous when detailers spray and soak all sorts of buttons. Happy New Year's Eve!
I've got an '06 Mk5 Rabbit that would LOVE to meet you guys! Haha. From full bottles of coolant and 10w30 oil spills in the trunk, backseat and foot spaces, to sand in literally every conceivable space from my years living in the high desert. It's in dire need. Too bad y'all aren't state side!
Top job as always Phil, it’s really difficult to show any improvement on a silver car you have managed to here. Keep up the great work, really enjoy your content 👌
Looks great! What a transformation. How much would this level of detail cost the dealer? I am sure there will be value added to the car, as it looks very well looked after now (even if it wasn’t)
mate, where are you based please? You are doing a fantastic job. Also great to see a narrow angle V5 cylinder gold with fabric interior and manual gearbox, not the obligatory leather and auto on UK speck V5 golfs
What did you use on the steering wheel? My other halfs Audi has the same faded effect all over the steering wheel, but you've managed to make it tonnes better on this Golf. Keen to find out what you used.
The moment when Peter Parker realised he was in the wrong movie😂. Very good video. I've got a product called Nano Coatex Protector which I sprayed on my alloys. Brake dust just washes off with water.
Nice video and job. I used to have a 2004 Golf, automatic. I really loved that car, until I had problems with the fuel filter which I had it replaced two years on the roll. Those things were all made of plastic. 😡 not many manual transmission in Phoenix Arizona. 👍👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸😉
Outstanding job guys! Detail detail detail. I had to look this because I drove the same Golf many years ago and had a lot of fun with it. Brought me everywhere.👍🏻😍
@@everydaydetailing6449 Nice one!👌🏻 This one you don't see so often in the Netherlands only at meetings! Keep up the good and hard work. Eye for detail😉
I love that car, the shape and curves are just alluring, makes me wonder how the manufacturers designed it
That's what I love about the mk4 - it's such an ageless classic design. Still looks good after 20 years.
agree, this is flawless design. Best looking car imo
with pen, paper and maybe some play-doh
I'm the same I got the same colour and it's my second mk4
They used the golden ratio to come up with those proportions
V5 is such a great engine, lovely to drive.
Sounds really nice to 👍😁
Lovley sound i own my since 4 years and i hope it will be forever 😍🙈
Wish we had that engine in the U.S. market...
Yes i also think about it...
But 10 - 11 Litres is the reason why i dont bought...
2.0 my own now! :)
@@dre4011 uhm you guys have it in the mk5 and mk6 with 2.5 liters. Id rather have those here in europe with the engine
I love how you went along with the spider, took it outside and then continued working on this beautiful car! Amazing work btw!
Just so satisfying seeing a older car getting some treatment and looking alot alot better near new condition small things can change alot. I’m always really impressed with the work you do on the wheels. They end up looking new again. Great job chap 👍
Thanks Calla P
Happy new year and thanks for your support of the channel this year!
One year on youtube as of the 3rd of Jan 👍😀

Just what the doctor ordered in Chrimbo Limbo. Thanks for posting, again. Great work as usual.
Thanks Daytona 👍😂
Wonderful piece of work! Also glad you let the spider go to a new home :)

This is the most beautiful car ever made... No doubt
What an excellent job on that MK4 Golf, all your work is really interesting to watch , you don’t hang about, keep up the good work 👌
Just the upload I need while I stare at my car covered in ice and can't wash it as I don't want an ice rink later
Stay safe it minus 2 at my unit at the moment 😁👍
Too true 👍

The mk4 golf. A car most Romanians loved and maybe still do
Another great video from the most well spoken car detailer on you tube! Marvellous transformation , very satisfying to watch 👍👍👍👍
Much appreciated! Appreciate that Mike 👍😀
Done that really really well I had a mk 4 1.8t before I bought a mk 5 R32 I absolutely loved my mk 4 golf.
What an epic transformation
This looks new, fresh and still have plenty of life in it.
Thumbs up
Thanks for watching 👍😀
Those ‘Montreal’ alloys were the best ones fitted to a Mk4 IMHO. Great job on the transformation!

That's a Top Gear intro. In this episode we have . I like it :)
Bit like the 90’s top gear 😁 glad you like it 👍
Next video "detailing my filthy lift" :D

Fantastic result and excellent work mate. Well done the before and after are miles apart👍🏼
Thanks 👍😀
Brings back memories of my mkiv, loved those seats, another fab video, such a joy to watch, what is the orange interior brush you use?
A generic soft detail brush .. a lot of them are the same re badged .. different logo twice the price!
mine came from cleanandshiny.co.uk
I stole one of my girlfriends makeup brushes for my interior
Another amazing transformation. Never fails to amuse me as to how bad people let their wheel rims get and how much of a difference it makes when they actually clean them. Top job, Cheers 👍🏼🙂

Wow great detailing of this Golf the alloy wheels look like new great work mate many more happy motoring miles on this car now👍👍👍👍👍👍
the cleaning on the rims & repainting them looks amazing

for the interior plastic of the mk4, to remove that rubbery thingy you can use burning alcohol, is cheap and works a charm !
