This song and video never gets old for me; it's 2023 and I'm still watching because it's just that good. One of the biggest things I love about it is the way one person feeds off the other. Also, how noticeably excited either of you get at different parts of the song. You were both clearly proud of each other for how well you performed in that moment, with subtle smiles from Elle to Toni and the way Toni was beaming at the end of it. Doin' great here, ladies! P.s. - "Woolf" is my all-time favorite track off that entire album. So glad you performed it for 'Sunday Mornings'!
What an aching delight -- I did my dissertation on her! I called it "A Hint of the Fang": Virginia Woolf's Personal Portraits of Women. Wish you ladies had been born a generation earlier, so that I could have used this song as background when I defended!
Here because UA-cam (bless you, Algorithm) put this in my feed on Virginia Woolf's 140th birthday! (I'm watching it for a 2nd day in a row.) Rock on, Reina and Toni... the lyrics, the guitars, the singing, the harmonies, the smiles... what an awesome song!!
Every time I watch and listen to Reina and Toni I want to write a comment on how great they are and how much I love what they are and what they do but since I could never write a comment that would do them justice instead I will just sit here and listen. Carry on ladies.
Reina we love Toni's Guitaring she is so skilled but I have to say I have noticed your vast coverage also on acoustic and you BOTH have voices that compliment one another you know each other so well it is so natural
Just a beautifully written song. Reminds me of Cohen or Rodriguez. Cogent and emotionally charged lyrics over a very creative instrumental arrangement. Very well done. Always love listening to both of you. :))
I love your choice of songs you cover and how you sing them.It is rare that I love a new song the first time I hear it.I am wowed again at your talent.Thank you
For some strange reason after watching what I thought was every vid you two have done.......I missed this, this, this, Masterpiece, ........this is just so good....thank you.
Michigander here-that hard "a" is really carrying its weight at 1:22 LOL. Love this song (and the amazing guitar and vocals)! More literary songs in the world, please! 📖📚
Okay, okay, okay...you won me over. I was impressed by your covers and now I’ve heard 3 originals and “impressed” just isn’t enough of a word. How about a sub? Okay, you got it. (That was phenomenal guitar.)
LOVE everything about this vid, including Reina's super cute haircut! And who doesn't wish to die and come back as Toni's Strat?!? Your tone is perfect! Can NOT wait to see you at the High Noon!!
Love you guys dong it in classic Bonnie Raitt style! This is so cool!!! I love the crescendos and the hard rocking guitars then the soft easy listening intertwined!!! Superb, Ladies, just absolutely superb!!!
Great new tune! Nice work with your Strat.... have one myself, and also a Taylor, so I love your duo for your excellent choice of instruments as well as the great music you make!
Reina you are reminding me of Dylan, Simon and Croce. Perhaps they were an influence on you. I don't know. I only recently discovered you. And Toni is so versatile - very talented. I have been wondering for years what it would be like if someone of the younger generation played and wrote in the old style - then I recently discovered Reina, Toni and Josh and I've not been disappointed.
I started following you with Jambalaya on the railroad tracks too, So far I have watched every video I can find of you two. Very good job, keep up the good music!
Obrigada
A good song actually. I like it more and more with every new listen. You don't know how your UA-cam channel really inspires me and helps me... live... Thank you, Reina and Toni.
Every aspect of a great rock composition is found in Woolf, especially this version. I agree with one of the comments this is a much better version than the album. The lyrics are so far above what passes for song these days it should make the lyricist proud. But, without the musical composition, the melody, the rhythm, the chord changes, Woolf remains a great prose/poem. Add the music and it;s fire...
Excellent. The two boys would have added something, you 4 have an amazing chemistry. Why do people downthumb? I have to be offended before I hit that button. Envy?
Okay that was masterpiece. Up the creek was a masterpiece as well. I write songs and play some instruments as well. I don't know if it's ingredients or balance of all the things it takes. Maybe it's has to do with dimensions. All I'm saying is you both not only have what it takes, you are both doing it, thank you
I used to play on a family band with two uncles an aunt and s sister. We played the Tennasee waltz as well as the Kentucky waltz and Missourie waltz. Do you know these last two? I love your show up here in Saskatchewan Canada
If there is a bureau of talent allocation I think you two figured out how to hack it and take two or three times the normal allotment. Exceptional/intelligent lyrics, great tune/melody, tremendous arrangement, and superb vocals and guitar work. Very impressive👍
Great song!! I especially liked the guitar solo in the middle by Toni. Continue doing originals, as you are a great song writer (though your covers are also really good).
I started following you with Jambalaya on the railroad tracks, have enjoyed lots more good music, and on this album Queen Hazel but most of all Woolf. The driving music and lyrics building to the repeating chorus are an amazing evolution, and the album performance is almost psychedelic! Thank you from Cincinnati for the Sunday Morning single of Woolf.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... These ladies NEVER EVER fail to impress!
Toni making that strat sing! She’s my hero! Lovely ladies, keep rocking the free world!
What an aching delight -- I did my dissertation on her! I called it "A Hint of the Fang": Virginia Woolf's Personal Portraits of Women. Wish you ladies had been born a generation earlier, so that I could have used this song as background when I defended!
I love the way Toni looks at Elle near the end like oh yeah this take is awesome and were about to end it!
I love this song. But I really love to watch Toni play and El sing. The confidence in your talent shows and allows you to just be freaking amazing!
The lyrics are pure poetry. "The river takes you in/And brings you home again." I think Ms. Woolf would approve.
There are some very famous guitarists who aren't anywhere near as good as Toni.
I have never seen anyone with such a finger spread on those frets.
Agreed. Though there are few who can match Reina's voice/writing. Both are great
They all lack the cool Rugby cap :)
So true!!
She is one of the greatest living guitarists and even greater all round musician & producer
Found you guys only a few months ago and am loving your spirit. Feeling the love you bring to your music. Never stop blessing us....please.
Toni is one of the best musicians I’ve heard, and Elle’s talents are too vast to list. My every day go to duo.
I love Toni’s guitar work. She is so musical.
You two are the Simon and Garfunkle of the 21st Century. Keep up the great work. Love your stuff!
This version is even better than the album version, too much extra stuff that muffles the best parts, which are you and Toni :)
This has been in my head for MONTHS, I am so in love with your voice and y'alls playing.
Magnificent song and you both are outstanding artists.
That strat tone is FIRE!
Rockabilly Rambler sounds stunningly bluesy
Every time I watch and listen to Reina and Toni I want to write a comment on how great they are and how much I love what
they are and what they do but since I could never write a comment that would do them justice instead I will just sit here and
listen. Carry on ladies.
Don't you just love her and her friends?..how could you not. Sometime's he sends angels.
i i agree i am a you tube watcher and this dual is my favorite along with all their friends it has changed how i listen to music.
Reina we love Toni's Guitaring she is so skilled but I have to say I have noticed your vast coverage also on acoustic and you BOTH have voices that compliment one another you know each other so well it is so natural
My new favorite.. Toni, you really can play girl, ..and that singing ..you girls got it going on..
Just a beautifully written song.
Reminds me of Cohen or Rodriguez.
Cogent and emotionally charged lyrics over a very creative instrumental arrangement.
Very well done.
Always love listening to both of you. :))
I love your choice of songs you cover and how you sing them.It is rare that I love a new song the first time I hear it.I am wowed again at your talent.Thank you
I love everything about this video. The song, the words, the music, the lighting, the colors - this video is a work of art.
I just don’t understand why this is not a huge hit, it’s way better than most everything else
For some strange reason after watching what I thought was every vid you two have done.......I missed this, this, this, Masterpiece, ........this is just so good....thank you.
A welcome break always. Entertaining and fun. Thanks for including us in your friendship.
Michigander here-that hard "a" is really carrying its weight at 1:22 LOL. Love this song (and the amazing guitar and vocals)! More literary songs in the world, please! 📖📚

Holy Sh.t, Toni can spread her fingers on 5 frets, I'm soooooo jealous (and I have long fingers).
make that 6
Amazing writing & performance! I very much enjoy visiting and listening to your work. A total inspiration!!!
Really beautiful restrained electric by Toni. Nice, also restrained rocking rhythm, intriguing lyrics and great vocals. Kudos!!!!!
Better and better. Long reign Reina del Cid!
Wow, I’m sold! You babies rock real fine... and it’s a lovely tribute to V.Woolf.
You girls are really good. Toni you are such a great guitarist
Thanks for a great show yesterday in Copenhagen. I especially remember Woolf, so I had to hear it again today.
I was also there, it was truly great. Thank you guys!
Ahhhh... what a find ! You work so well together. Enjoyed every second of this 💛
YES!
I love finding more and more of your music. I'm not sure why but it makes me feel younger. I see the influence of Dylan.
LOVE everything about this vid, including Reina's super cute haircut! And who doesn't wish to die and come back as Toni's Strat?!? Your tone is perfect! Can NOT wait to see you at the High Noon!!

I have been wondering for years what it would be like if someone of the younger generation

très bon jeu de guitares... On aime aussi le chant!
Traci's a beast on the Strat. She even throws some jazz chords in occasionally. Impressive.
I used to play on a family band with two uncles an aunt and s sister. We played the Tennasee waltz as well as the Kentucky waltz and Missourie waltz. Do you know these last two? I love your show up here in Saskatchewan Canada
Her name is Toni.
Great performance....beautiful song!
Why is this the first time I heard this? This is amazing!
Thank you for the video
If there is a bureau of talent allocation I think you two figured out how to hack it and take two or three times the normal allotment. Exceptional/intelligent lyrics, great tune/melody, tremendous arrangement, and superb vocals and guitar work. Very impressive👍
Temazo! Gran compositora Reina y Toni es fuego puro 🔥 gracias youtube por hacerme llegar esta música a la Argentina ❤
As before, brilliant! You two are a very talented duo and have a great chemistry!
Great song!! I especially liked the guitar solo in the middle by Toni. Continue doing originals, as you are a great song writer (though your covers are also really good).
