I have a couple of really pretty ones I can't wait to do next. I've also learned that getting some with the round stones are a little more forgiving on having them lined up perfectly than the square stones on this video.

The only reason for the wax is to hold it to the pen? Have you thought of investing in a magnifier lamp?

AquaCarb Basically the wax helps pick up the stones to place them on the sticky paper. The magnifier lamp isn’t a bad idea but the round stones are so much easier to use to make it look nicer.
