A car that's tuned by a guy whose known for his set-ups that killed hos customers, yet he still goes to Kitami. Rikako took it well though. Somehow I would be a bit annoyed that an engine I confidently put together isn't fully maxed out by the customer. But then again, there will always be risks. I can't find the Best Motoring battle where the Evo VI ran on Fuji Speedway and smoked the much faster NSX on the straights but after the long straight it blew. Even an engine as good as the 4G63 will blow. Plus, after Rikako and her dad tested the red R33 whose engine she rebuilt, the RGO employee did say it wasn't perfect and she needed more experience. I don't know, really. That's all I get from the show. You can educate me as much as you want. I really appreciate this. It helps me understand the story more. Any more facts are welcome too. So 450 hp is around that level and isn`t impossible to hit 300 with good gear ratio and long enough straight. The point is whether it is enough to beat cars like the z with top speed 300km/h only?? The answer is no, it is stated that the z can reach 330km/h plus so eiji should have aimed for the 200mph mark at least to be competitive. I didn't know there are people ignorant enough to think that anyone from Wangan Midnight can drift better than Tak. But you can't forget that in Wangan Midnight there are lots of corners. The difference is that they are hitting them at 150-250 km/h and anyone who thinks that's easily done is mistaken. Just try one of the Tokyo loops (which is also in WM) on Gran Turismo Sport, one of the most challenging courses on the game.

Just slap in something like td06 25g it should kick the devil z`s ass, don`t even need to rely on scramble boost i don`t know if eiji uses a stock turbo and boosting it up if so it should have been further boosted up to something like 2 bar so that it keeps up with the opponents. Durability is not an issue anyway
Well, ya see, the Devil Z has a near infinite power pool, that’s just limited to ~600 - 650 hp for regular usage, and when Z is having his ass handed to him, he rips the power up a few notches. Another thing is that car mods weren’t as efficient in the late 1990’s, which is the time period the show is set in (The show has laptops, email, ECU tuning, but no cars from after ~ 1998.)

Stock 4G63 internals can take up to 500whp and 400 ft lbs of torque. A forged bottom end can have it take that much power. I’m sitting at 400 whp at 2.2 Bar only limited by fuel pump.

Most tuned 800hp - 1000hp hellcat, mustang, Camaro these days is just being tuned improperly with single turbo for the horsepower without caring about spool, handling, cornering, and stability. If you upgrade the internals and build the engine methodically, it can handle a lot more power than that actually.

These days you can just buy a modern Audi, Mercedes or BMW or any sedan/coupe that can reach 300km/h and you have a little chance to follow them.
Most tuned 800hp - 1000hp hellcat, mustang, Camaro these days is just being tuned improperly with single turbo for the horsepower without caring about spool, handling, cornering, and stability.
