so calm and chill at the speaker installing part
Good Job!
This is prolly the best quality project video I've seen in a long time, also I'm glad to see that you've added padding to prevent the subs from bottoming out, congratulations man, love the new build 👍
I made a pair of 2 way tower speakers myself (totally original design) about 5 years ago and it is certainly fun making speakers for sure. I really want to make more speakers myself in the future, particularly using seas and fostex drivers.
Yeah your right it’s awesome and even the music playing
The box looks amazing man
I wanna build mine now I have spare speakers laying around my bedroom and I want to add them to my living room home theater system
Beautifully done!
Great video man, this is the closest to a DIY. Not every one of us have all the tools for a pro result.
I love making speaker boxes... Great cuts young man! I want to build a center channel with 2 8 inch woofers and 2 6-1/2 2way speakers in the same cabinet... It will be a beast..
I like my center channel speaker to have very full big sound..
Great speaker build! I'm doing a bluetooth powered boom box myself. Doing final assembly tomorrow.
Btw Chopped! Nice Subaru. I've had a few myself.
i really love to watch videos were you build speaker boxes
This video was the center of my attention for about 13 minutes.
Great job!!...it came out really nice!
Nice job I love the looks, and with the amount of glue and clamping you don't really need the Brad pins, that box is bomb proof.
I just subscribed without even finishing the video because I like the passion you have for speakers. Nice to meet you, bro!
Very beautiful well done
Great job Doublsmm!!
exelent job man. хорошая работа, молодец.
Hello from brazil bro, you're a inspiration!
You use my two favorite song and while listening on the sound demo i used Bass Boost EQ.
I really do think you deserve more subs, keep up the good and amazing work !
When i thought what song is Doublsmm gonna use before the sound demo and i just think of the Cartoon On & on and the feels right and when i played it at the sound demo i was surprised that he will use that song.
good job, and neat
Hi.
Really Nice work
Can u did a video about cables set up?
Congrats
Great vid great edit
Very nice build bro!!!
Nice speaker good job man
I built a very similar one but with a curved front to reduce intermodulation. I have the same tweeter but I don't like the sound of it. Sounds to hissy. Made some tweaks to the crossover and added a small peace of black fabric behind the tweeter grille to improve things. Sounds better now but would probably buy a silk dome next time.
The sound is very good, and i think we can't judge only this speaker on its own, because it will be a 5.1 system. I expect the subwoofer to rock heavy! So, thumbs up, waiting for the whole system ready to listen the full quality.
That's so awesome (: I love it so much
Nice work
nice job! im jumping into my first speaker build...a LCR soundbar. I was going to build the center with MMTMM. I'm trying to grasp the whole ohms thing. I'm assuming you series-parallel'd the 4 8ohm woofers to get 8ohms into the xover and the AMT is 8ohms itself. What is your receiver putting out per channel?
Great video Doublsmm..I which that you posted or link the specs for buying it if some one wants to do this build..great job! 😎👌
Love it, I love how simple the paint and box is yet it still looks flawless!
me: wow, i could make that right now if i can.
budget: *yeah, gOOD LUCK WITH THAT.*
Build them and sell them. Boom. Theres your income.
Great use everyday tools
Good work
amazing, i am going to build one
i'm very new to this, could someone explain to me how he used a 2 way crossover for 4 woofers and a tweeter? Awesome video btw.
would this be a good set up for a portable bluetooth speaker?
Can you send me the size of the box and do you have a template for the front, also what wires where solder to the thing you had inside the box. By the way amazing video thumbs up
Nice job
That looks great man! question, how did you wire those speakers??
Did you just connect it to one and then just keep on sending signal to the others??
Love your work bro, what are the dimensions of the box
i love that subaru..
Could you please make a video on how to wire a Dayton audio crossover
this video inspired me to build my own version but not as good because i am terrible at woodworking
could you please do a video on how to wire a Dayton audio cross over
Can you make a video on how to set up the wiring stuff
could i build a bt speaker with this too ?
once again another great speaker, maybe i will use something like that too
what jig saw blade number you used to cut MDF?
So did you hook one woofer to the crossover than jump it to the other one? Also do you put the input power right to the crossover?
I love you, say Hello from México.
EXCELENTE
what are the measurements of your boombox and the watts of the speakers
Awesome
is it standard speaker wire to connect the components?
Amazing!
Just Like it your Profile pic
Thanks
yoo.. nice!!👍👌
Invest in a small compressor and brad nailer. Work amazing for speaker boxes
or a ryobi battery brad nailer
Maybe a stupid question, but anyways: would it help if I upgrade the center speaker in a Logitech z906 to a MTM? Will that be an improvement, or I'll just throw the money away?
On video they sound incredible!
Would you recommend swaping out speakers? My towers sound good but they could be more crisp, even with eq. So I would change the mids and highs with Dayton's since they sound better. (heared them personally)
no holes for air intake?
One last thing I would suggest, Is making a cool modern simplistic logo for your channel. And Engrave it with a laser machine on to the top of each speaker then Lacquer it with a fine paintbrush. Job done.
p.s. So satisfying to watch your videos, awesome editing great music and amazing job with the build m8.
i've been here since 8 k subs
what kind of paint do u use
Could you put up the parts list. Cant get link to work.
Can you explain the wiring..how to hooked it all up...orders stuff just need to know exactly what to do when I get it
I am not the person who made this video but I can explain this to you get a 9 volt battery a hook every speaker up and test it with the battery if it makes a gay popping noise the speaker wires are hooked up the right way solder the speaker wires to the speaker do the same thing with the next speaker do the same thing with the next speaker why are all the wires together solder them together on the speaker Port turn on you are welcome
Good job bro, but I'd love to see the speaker drivers flush in the front baffle.
This type of mounting is bad because it produces a lot of diffraction, especially at high frequencies.
However, it is easily fixable if you make a thin layer of wood on top, which will hide the speaker flanges and will improve the appearance too.
BTW the screws which hold the drivers are also BAD, especially the AMT unit. So close to it, it will produce a lot of diffractions, too.
Please, more attention to detail, thanks and keep up the good work!
No, no, no no no. Screws and the outside of the speaker are not going to cause diffractions. That is absolutely autistic. How in the hell is that going to cause any diffractions? As long as the speaker is properly sealed in the enclosure and there are no leaks, there will be no problems. What else would you use other than screws? Bolts? They would have the exact same "effect". I've been building speaker enclosures for many years, but I've never quite heard something as stupid as this. Sound isn't going through the front baffle. And there isn't a small aperture for sound to go through. IT'S SEALED! Do you even know what diffractions are? You're not autistic, you're acoustic!
The mid bass speakers remind me of the Dual 18s but way smaller XD
May I know the measurements of that center speaker box?
Do i see a chopped fingers on that car??
A MCM Fan? :)
Nice center console! :D
6:45 The best beat ever!
How did you wire the subwoofers? All + together and - ?
What about connection diagrama...
Nice job
Could you please build a center speaker with a driver from guitar cabinet?
Pls spicify the brand of speaker and the exact wattage each...thanks
Someone explain the wiring please. 5 drivers. How... one set series then parallel? What about the tweeter?
Where’s the port
By the way awesome build ur projects are always very very neat
How Did you wire the woofers, being they are 8 ohms?
You are so good what you do keep it up we're done
Wil you please explain how you wired the woofers and what the final impedemce is?
Hello?
Nice build but i want to ask something is cotton wool a good idea to put in to a cabinet im planning a box upgrade of my home theatre sub and i want to know ;) btw sry for my bad english im greek
ChickqnZ google polyfill
you should do your system value video
Spoiler at 8:50
Also, the speaker sounds great!!! Good job!
Lol... i like that you're using a hammer and nails... good way to get some companies to send you some products.. here man...heres a Kreg jig. Hey bro, you need a nice air compressor with a full line of our nail/staple guns too.. etc etc
Lol... hustle subtle!
Nice gibt es dazu einen Bauplan würde die gerne so ähnlich nachbauen
falando portugues e melhor qual e esse componente que voce estalou dentro da caixa fala ai logo mano
and other tweeter more economic?
Link for parts list doesn't work?
hey word of advice use a damp cloth and wipe the mdf before you glue it
Imagine all of the woofers just creating some sort of bass which will lead to well, *more* bass 😂🙃
Howmany costs the whole thing?
I like how he's going for white boxes now
Does anyone use 45 degree angles for this anymore and support it with 90 degree metal braces screwed in from inside only or glued and screwed wooden braces? If you look at a picture frame, that's what you want. Invest in a miter saw and a router and some bits, these 2 thing will make you a pro.
What about Shielding? Magnet can effect LED Screen.
Should of used baffles or some sort of separation between speakers for better sound.
the diagram for the conexion?
watts the total rms??
Is there a reason you wired the mid/bass speakers in series ? Cool build :D
Unexpected Sensation it has to do with ohm load. If he had everything wired in parallel he would be at 1.6ohms, but with the woofers in series, then in parallel with the tweeter he should be at 6.4ohms.
which would be better suited for his amplfiers.
wax333 hmm interesting
most home audio speakers ive seen are 6 or 8 ohms
Nvm was wrong it's parallel wired or half series +parallel
