Looks like the DMC repellor only comes up to about a Men's 10 -> 11" foot. I ended up going with the Yucca, they have a lot more sizes and 3 different stiffness to choose from + padding available from the factory.

True? I've heard the Yucca's are great too! I would be very interested to know how you go with them once you've had a chance to properly try them out

Another option if your fins are giving you cramps/grief is to cut them down.
Especially stiff asymmetrical dolphin style fins which can twist your knees in.
You end up with a shorter, straighter fin which are used with a faster cadence but still have stiffness+ power for bursts of speed for sprinting.
Dropsaw or stanley knife works fine.

I have a pair, Ive never worn a more comfortable pair of fins, they just have no power, I wish dmc made a hard/stiff pair as another option, I would definitely purchase another set!

Yeah that initial burst of power was lacking on my first swim, but haven't noticed it as much since.. the compromise for more time and less injury on my knees is the main reason why I have switched to DMC's Im out there so much more now with zero pain

I have Da Fins and find wearing them after a few minutes my arches start aching me and cramping. I can't figure out exactly what's causing it as they're not overly tight and fit comfortably, do you think it may be from such a stiff fin that I'm flexing to hard while kicking? I'm very must interested in getting these DMC fins if they will help with my issue.

Hey there, thanks for your message... yeah some fins just don't suit our feet, it seems like the DaFins are not a good match for you. If they ache after only a few minutes I would definitely be changing them up. Since using and recommending these DMC fins I have had and heard so many success stories with more comfort , less cramping and less rubbing. DMC fins are now offering my members and subscribers a discount at their website: dmcfins.com/?ref=TOMWOODS and if you use both these codewords you will get free shipping as well as the discount codewords are TOMWOODS and MAXSPEED I reckon they are definitely worth trying out, made a huge difference for me.

@@dreamlifephotography thank you! I just ordered a pair! Can’t wait to try them out. I’m shooting with just a go pro now as I’m learning, but I’m loving getting back into the water from when I used to surf!!

Hey mate, the codes aren't working at the moment. Got any current ones?
(And do you have any for the new Joby SeaPal? Seems to be the AxisGo Replacement).

Hey Ben, the codes are working my end.. just tested TOMWOODS and MAXSPEED on different browsers and computers and they worked fine... so not sure what went wrong there? (where are you based??) And codeword atm for the Joby Seapal is TOM5 gets you a 5% discount on the new Aquatech Phone housing that looks really good... let me know how you go with all this, cheers mate

@@dreamlifephotography Hey Tom, sorry for the late reply.
EDIT: Mate sorry! I just realised what I've done. I meant to post this comment on one of your Aquatech videos. I wasn't talking about the fins! Sorry! (BUT, I checked, and the codes do work for DMC fins! And I'll grab a pair soon!).
But with Aquatech, My cart is currently loaded up with the new SEAPAL housing for phone, and TOM5 worked for that. :) (Aussie store, and that's where I'm based). It also worked for other items in my cart, like if I were to add a regular DSLR/Mirrorless housing.
But I tried some of the other codes you've had on other videos, such as AF-TOMWOODS-AUS, and they didn't work for me. I took the Seapal stuff out and threw in a random regular Edge max housing and later, an older Reflex housing just to see, and they still didn't work, (But TOM5 did).
I also have that "Honey" plugin which finds and tries codes, and it automatically put your TOM5 code in, which should mean it's the best code it could find.
And I tried it on Safari and Chrome too - same results.
All good if Tom5 is the best going around. I'll buy soon.. :) But if there's a better code, that'd be awesome.

Ive been a dafin user for years because i have broad feet, but now ive hit 60's, ive noticed my ankles are starting to suffer from the stiffer fins.

Yeah I've heard similar from a lot a crew lately... the more flexi fins have really beneficial for my time in the water, it will be interesting to see if they work with someone that have broad feet
