- This video was filmed during sunrise at the Usury Park in Mesa, Arizona. I took the time to take a brisk walk up the trail and set up my camera! I love the natural sounds you would have no idea exist in such a barren area. Put this on during study or sleep!

A lot of people think that the Southwest is a dead wasteland, but it's actually filled with life, just not life that is commonly seen in other parts of the world. It's clear from this video that the desert is actually a thriving habitat for so many creatures and plant life.
I live out in the superstition mountains and cant sit outside because my allergies are killing me 😂 there is truly nothing like the sound of thw desert in the morning. Now I can enjoy without sneezing

I love Arizona. Wish I had tons of acres in the desert and a peaceful cottage right in the middle.
Pass Mountain in the background. Lots of wildlife within Usery. We see mule deer, coyotes, harris hawks, lovebirds, and the more common stuff like quails, ravens, cottontails, etc, and of course rattlers when it starts to warm up

This is very cool.. can’t figure out what bird/animal I’m hearing at 25:01 (for example) exactly. Sings 3x. Any ideas?
@@thomasoneilmtb I have no idea! I slowed the video down from regular speed to .75 speed so it might be our usual song birds, but i'm thinking a quail?

I live in Vegas. To get these kind of sounds I have to get way out of the Valley …and it’s worth it for sure. but just for a regular Tuesday morning sitting on my deck, cup of coffee and the sun peaking over the mountains- this soundscape in my headphones is enough to drown out the constant noise of construction and development. 😢

Man, i want to move to Arizona so bad. I'm from NM originally but live in the TX panhandle right now. Not too bad here but I love the desert and Arizona is so beautiful. What places would you recommend living in Arizona? Is Mesa good?
Hey man its not bad. My wife is from southern new mexico. Phoenix/Mesa area is a lot more green and lot more water then El Paso area. I recommend Apache Junction, Casa Grande or tuscon. Phoenix, and Mesa is just so dang busy. I am in the far east of Mesa, right on state and federal land so there is some breathing room!

This platform started out free of commercials There are more commercials on UA-cam than there ever was on television. I’m just ranting to UA-cam not you. Thanks for your response. Premium is the way to go if you use UA-cam a lot. It also includes UA-cam music. I got my subscription & never looked back.
