Great video and thank you. Very informative, your hands-on review is awesome - super super helpful in my decision to buy or not buy.......which I'm buying this same system as we speak. I'd suggest deleting the background music from your videos as it's completely unnecessary and it makes it more difficult to hear you.......I'm watching your videos to learn from your knowledge and experience.......not to for the music video experience. Thank you. Cheers from Wisconsin.

Hey I appreciate it. It’s a good machine and I will be interested in knowing how it works out for you. I recently replaced my collection bag because it finally tore but I knew that would eventually happen. Good luck!!

Hi! Just watched your video. Great vid! I am seriously considering this same machine and setup, going 4” off the machine. However, being “only” 850ish CFM, I am worried about how long of a run I can do of 4” PVC and still get excellent suction on the other side. It looks like you have a long run going across the top. Can you please advise me how long your longest run of 4” pipe is and how the suction is on the end of that? Thanks!

Longest run runs across the shop to my bandsaw and branches off there and runs even further to my miter saw. Bandsaw is about 30ft away, miter saw an additional 5ft away, there are also several 45’s in this run. Utilizing blast gates on everything, I am impressed with the suction at both tools. Just using one tool at a time, I am happy. I don’t think it would be sufficient running more than one. I hope that helps and thank you!!

@@rkwoodswoodworking9463 thanks! That’s exactly what I was hoping you’d say. I’d say my longest run is about 30 ft or so, so it sounds like this will work well! Thanks!

I had the same issue with mine tripping the breaker. I also ran 10 gauge wire fortunately. Tech support knows about this problem, i have had several phone conversations on it with them. My take on this is the start capacitor on the motor is to big, as the amps drop significantly after start up. If you have the same issue you will need to run a 30A circuit with 10 Ga wire to get past the problem.

Nice review. I see you have your run piped down to what looks like a 1 1/2" hose at the miter station. How is the performance there? I'm looking at a similar system and wondering about having to run an additional smaller dust extractor such as a festool for my miter saw and sander.

It works pretty good. My original intent was to have a dedicated festool dust extractor for the miter saw, but thats an additional expense. Being a hobbyist, it is often difficult to justify those types of purchases. works good, a dedicated festool vacuum would work better!!

@@rkwoodswoodworking9463 That's my situation as well. Thanks for the response, it helps helps to know its effective, but not optimal vs. ineffective.

I ordered it directly from grizzly, but, like everything else, looks like inflation has taken its toll. The unit is currently priced at 1450$.

@rkwoodswoodworking9463 I found it at Grizzly for $1034 ,they sent me 5% off, makes it $982.30.
I'm close enough to go get it( 8 hr round trip) I'm tax exempt, that saves me the tax, freight & lift Gare fees of $292.94 :-)
