Just put down my pgf balanced and humichar. Still waiting on my soil test results, prob will be putting out lime and humichar during off-season.

Next Garden Season... Take two of your beds as a test or create two more beds. One is Georgia Clay, the other is Georgia Clay + loads of Super compost (Humichar+Organics+Microbe Packs).
I feel this would be a truer test than starting with the already rich dark garden bed soil you had from 2020 :)

Dj Hott, if you go back through some of his videos. He has one on that. Not sure the title of it.. Also if you haven't put pre-emergent down. Now is the time too.
Up here by us it will die soon. We need to put down pre-ems in the spring next. It will take a couple years to tone down the crab grass.

Doc I put down a heavy application of humichar few days ago and have been watering daily. I am noticing that a lot of the humichar is still on the surface of some of my bare spots looking like it's not absorbing into the ground. I live in central TX.
In some of his videos he does say even Humichar takes weeks versus the months / years for bigger biochar.
But use his full measurement of .5” - 1” of penetration per growing season / year. So 1”per 12months = .085 inches per month so just over a 1/16th of an inch penetration per month at the HIGH side of his estimate on Humichar’s biochar penetration.

Hey doc, I had laid down humic DG. What is the difference between that and humichar? I laid new celebration Bermuda this summer. What should I be doing? Sandy soil in eastern North Carolina with very high phosphorus.
