As a tall person the pop-up heads up display is so helpful! I test drove a ‘25 countryman recently and they have done away with the small screen gauge cluster on that model. The pop-up display was so helpful even with the small gauge screen because I don’t have to look as far down and away from the road.

I love mine a 2023 Clubman white silver JCW same features. Cons has a 19 wheels with a low profile tires that keep on popping every time it hit a pot hole. No tire wrench no jack no spare tire. Down graded to 18" and a nice Michelin sports 4. Loved it. A manual could had been better performance wise. That phone charger is only good for a old model I phone. Otherwise you folks are going to love this mini BMW.
The good news with the HUD is that it can be configured to your preference - my wife has it off / down while I leave it on / up. For me, it means my eyes stay up and on the road and not glancing down.
Jill go to the settings look for displays scroll head display there is curser that you could adjust up and down and center adjustments that you could fit on your eyes height. Hopefully it helps.

I agree with you. That HUD I odd. Seems like the designer just "phoned" it in. Somebody said, "We should add a HUD" And some lazy person did. But I do like the "mouse" control for the screen. That should be more common on other vehicles with these massive screens. You can use your peripheral to see the screen change and keep your eyes forward and your hand can feel the way. Instead of having to focus on the screen to see where to put your finger.

Do they offer a manual 6 speed? It looks like a station wagon, which I always like station wagons. And do you have to run 91 or higher octane ? 301 hp is pretty good .
Yes to premium fuel. You can get a MT in the base powertrain (189 hp) not the uplevel (301 hp).
