Sunstone Scoop the Double Eagle Mine. Rockhounders

Come along with us on our second trip out to the Double Eagle sunstone mine in Plush Oregon. We are doing a " scoop " and hoping to get some large yellows and of course those beautiful and harder to find reds

I have some small red-dot Sunstones to facet but I'd LOVE to get my hands on a couple of those woppers. I paid way more for my very tiny handful than you paid for that entire lot.
Good on you. I wish I could go do that and save a few grand.

It's $240.00 a scoop there this year, I got a big one that will facet 3 large stones about 3 weeks ago, I did a video on it, it's in the " short " video list. Thanks for watching. Happy rock hounding
