I love this. I made a cloth cover for my super blasted journal. Its still super blasted, but I made the cover so that it wraps around to help hold it all inside. Lol!

A great glueing tip is to glue the smaller piece to the bigger piece. … but I forget this all the time 😂 loved seeing you flip over the cover to glue - so me 😂

Hello, My thought is to clean the metal part of pinking shears. If that doesn’t help take the scissors to get sharpened. I am sure there is something out of balance with the blades…Thank you for all you do. Merry Christmas!

I would love to cut up a quilt I have and try these kinds of projects but...I wouldn't have enough projects to use up the whole quilt...so what on earth would I do with the rest of it!?🤔 if I ever come up with an answer to that question I'll cut into then. 😁 TFS. As a quilt maker, I would never cut into a quilt, unless it was irreparable or hideous, lol. You could just make your own small “sample” quilt for the sole purpose of making the journal. I was thinking it would be a great way to practice quilting on a small scale.
I was considering investing in those fiskars pinking shears as I have difficult with standard fiskars pinking shears.. so stiff and hard to cut with. Does anyone here know of a pinking shear that is easy to use?

I oiled my daughters pinking shears with sewing machine oil
With your pink & sheers just turn the screw an 1/8th of turn. They will work much easier. I love that journal and quilt is beautiful
