MaCenna accomplished so much in a year. She works incredibly hard. Always tries to better herself and her skills. She is such an amazing role model. Great designer. I love her drive to perfect her cottage. When she's done I'm sure it will be a little slice of heaven for her, Romeo and Kingsley.

Discovered your home renovation journey last week & I’ve binge watched every night! I’m all caught up now… my daughter is a freshman in high school & she aspires to become an architect, I’ve been watching with her because it’s important to me that she sees another woman building something from the ground up! I've watched all your videos and enjoyed them so much. My daughter and husband have done the exact same thing you did. They bought a 123 yr old farm house with six acres and made the prettiest home out of it. I am amazed at the energy and skills you and my daughter have. Building cabinets, installing floors etc. Many blessings to you in the present and future.

Our dedication as viewers aside, this house is really special. Every tiny bit is designed, hand held and nurtured by Macenna and her loved ones. This is more than a house, this is a marvelous family legacy project. ❤
One of the thing that I loved about these renovations is your planning. At first when an outsider looks, it seems you picked up random projects and went with it. Until you talked about it; one comes to know that the surrounding and environment became one of the big factor that you choose next project. It also provide a framework for someone who is planning on something this big. They will have a base from where to start without feeling exhausted and overwhelmed

I also painted my beadboard island black and I love it! Its such a dramatic contrast! Also your entryway has got to be one of my all time favorite spaces of any home on any tour!!!! It is a vision in color, scale, textures... true unique style!
