My 14 pro bought in Jan 2023 is still at 100%. My iPhone mini bought in June 2022 is also 100%. All I do is charge my battery about 10% at a time before giving it an hour before charging it another 10% or so.
My battery health is perfectly fine after almost a year, I’m still at 98% and it just recently dropped to 98% with 277 charge cycles. Last year at the same time my 14 Pro was at 90%.
My 15 Pro dropped abruptly during the iOS 18 beta update from 100% to 99, and in two weeks it was down in 97%. Manufacturing date is July 2023 and first use is November 2023, and cycle count is 272. However my previous phone was a 13 Pro, and I felt it dropped faster. I remember it being around 80% when I upgraded. A thing I didn't liked though and which I think is affecting my battery health is how iOS 17 onwards makes the iPhone overheats so easily: Basically can't do wireless or fast charging anymore otherwise I'll end with an ember in my pocket (and battery life on iPhones since iOS 16 is a complete disaster, I can't go to the gym at the end of the day without carrying a portable battery). I was hoping for 18 to fix the extremely poor optimization we're having since 16 but... no luck.
For phones which are that expensive, it's a shame that the batterys are so bad after 1 year. I wanted to switch to iPhone, because Samsung has a very bad software problem. But after this video I don't know if I should.
