It's a rainy Saturday again here in Australia (we've had a Summer of rain and devastating floods here) and I've just listened to Part 1 (superb!!) dancing around the kitchen (with a bourbon or two) to you guys with the volume flat out while I cook! I've only just discovered you guys recently and am sooooooooo elated for the experience of Johnnyswim. Your music makes my heart smile... it brings me so much joy not only musically, but the whole vibe you send out. When I first heard your song Home, i think on NPR Tiny Desk, I was so moved by this song that I wrote alternative lyrics, dedicated to my beautiful daughter who has always struggled with life and it's challenges. To be so inspired to write again was absolutely awakening! It's been a while...
