The food looked quite good there! I had no idea that Helsinki (or Finland in general) was into herring like the Netherlands is. I would love to check out Helsinki someday!
Actually it's not the same fish, close cousins though. The Baltic herring is smaller and has less fat than the Atlantic. When I was a little kid herring casserole was a common dish served as a school lunch (you get warm lunch in he Finnish schools), not my favourite, still can't eat it 😁 Nowadays herring is mostly replaced by salmon/rainbow trout in Finland. I like the traditional pickled herring though.
Some great footage A wanderlust for life.
Love your vlog, always when you're tasting, great! That's a great food market! 👍
Thanks, Jack! You know I love to try all the foods 😁
Not only grannies love seabuckthorn, It is also a favorite of mine and my daughter.
She loves it too! She bought some for home 😊
Nothing wakes you up in the morning like a shot of seabuckthorn juice😋
That reindeer soup was so good! And now I wish I’d bought a Helsinki mug 🥲
Silver lining, less to pack when moving 😂 Just think, if you move back to Europe, then you can start a collection!

And they do it with so many flavors! Can't believe I enjoyed so much of it 😂
