4K/30...in 2022 it's joke... I hope the next generation will has the 4K/60. It is a standard today. I have XA50.

Which camera u use for this video?
I was going to upgrade, but then I realized they quietly downgraded back to a 1/2.3" sensor, the G60 had a full 1" sensor.
It's also smaller with better processing

so mutch fun filming with camcorders.. at light ! so good. the iso could be better for low light also low shutter would be cool for low light shots.
I have been using the XA10 for many years now, still amazing. I have two questions - 1) Do either support Canon Log format, and 2) Can you power either with USB C PD unit (Like EOS R5/6/7) for long running shoots where there's no electric power available)? I hope someone answers. Thanks.

why is the XA75 4k/30 while the earlier model XA70 is 4k/60

Honest question, why would you buy a camcorder over a mirrorless or cinema camera. What use cases are camcorders best used for?
all in one package, stabilization, and of course mega optical zoom, which is smooth to use . ?
News gathering, live streaming, long recording times, unpredictable and/or fast paced situations. Camcorders shine when your ability to be ready at any time and face a variety of situations trumps your need for a slicker ""cinematic"" look.
xa70/75 has bigger and much better Screen than xa50/55. But Up to 10% less batterylife and no remote control Sensor and remote Control included. Otherwise they seem to be the same (very good) camera.

so sony can fit a 1" sensor in their RX100 series point and shoot compact cameras, but Canon can't put a 1" sensor in their behemoth sized Vixia G70? that's insanity lol
is it really needed? i'm shopping for a camcorder, and now thinking if i should get G60 or G70 ? what's the advantage of 1 inch over 2/3 ? why would Canon downgrade?
@@DRIVECLUBistimelessPS4 The main advantages, as I have seen, are better low-light performance, finer resolution (less grain) and shallower depth of field.
@@craigw.scribner6490 i see, thanks. not sure if that's worth it for me over 20x zoom. seems like quite an advantage for video quality, but 1 inch sensor will only come with 15x zoom. i looking to do motorsport videos and extra zoom would be helpful
To anyone that might see this to access slow motion you go under recording settings in menu and click on fast and slow motion. If you want to access slow motion in 4k drop your frame rate from 29.97 p to 23.98 (which is the lowest) to record in 0.8 but if want to record even slower drop the resolution and frame even lower for the functions 0.5 or 0.4
