I was hoping it would be either round based or defending objectives while taking down high priority targets. I'm still enjoying the event but it feels a bit dull, maybe things will pick up with the event changing next week? (I heard each week they mix things up, which might be new? I played a little bit in 2019. Only got up to lvl 22 but I did do Fasnacht, and I remember having fun with it. Started playing again a couple months ago and now I can't wait to do Fasnacht again!
You can also get the man mask in the Asylum. Since i farm asylum uniforms , i hit thete as well every couple of days . As soon as you enter the asylum, take the hall on the right . Follow to the end and go up the stairs on your right. At the second floor go straight to the first right . Second door on your left and the mask will be on the floor at the back of the room 😊
I've only been playing this fallout 76 for about 4 months or more but this silly fasnacht event has drained my thrill for playing any more such events. Over 50 goes at it and apart from a lot of cores, just crap masks. First and last, great vids by the way 👍
thank you, much appreciated. This event is rather silly I agree and they def need to rework how the event and rewards work. However don't underestimate the cores and treasury notes you get plus the amount of scrip the event generates which is all useful! :-)
I really wanted a cool looking glowing mask. After grinding nonstop since it dropped I got the glowing turkey one…any ideas on an outfit to go with it? Something to embrace the full goofiness of it.
Nice vid showing all of the masks however I wouldn't advise soloing fasnacht day like I just did with all robots saved all I got was that sun mask lol, the 4 legendary cores were nice plus the chameleon forest scout armor chest piece.

So, in total, how many bells are currently active in the game. All I have are the Fasnacht bell, Lincoln Bell, Round bell, and Tapered Bell. I’ve yet to see a Herdsman Bell like that implemented
Had a few events lose a marcher last time because only one or two of us were actually present while a dozen were AFK even using friendly fire to keep them alive to the end, the marchers get downed pretty easily if mobbed. Had the site nuked a few times during the event so as soon as a nuke alert comes through I check to see if Helvetia is the target. I hop worlds if I see a lot of people present at Helvetia before the event. I'm only going to do the event to get the new plans as I'm over the event - it's just not worth grinding for rare masks when so many people AFK.
I totally understand your point and hope that BGS will eventually do something to combat this as it is irritating when this happens as the world can be full so no one else can join to help but if 80% of the players are afk it's super hard to keep the marchers all alive unless the remaining player work together all equipped with flamers and friendly fire!
@@Dropla they prob have sneak perks etc so the enemies won't see them unless they move. Other armour prefixes will also help if they are standing still etc I'm afraid.
I wouldn't let it get to you, they are not going to effect the loot that you receive as every player has their own rng loot pool so they are not taking anything away from you. The only annoyance is that they are not helping to complete the event if only a few people are active and most are afk, but then if you just jump to a world where there are loads of people active then you'll be fine anyway.
@@GoldenGek Hopping worlds during the event can be problematic as so many people jumping in around the time the event starts that I have had times when it couldn't find an available world. Average time for spinning up a new world is 2 minutes. So new worlds get spun up in response to demand but this can take time while players are 'bouncing' against the queue or each other. Player A tries to hop, Players B, C, D and E in the meantime have started up to join the event. World allocated has empty 'slots' but then when the scheduler tries to allocate players from the queue the world might become full. I check the world I am on to see what teams are on and if there is a cluster of people at Helvetia who aren't moving about and avoid joining worlds just before the event starts.
6:43 2* There's the "psycho squidward" and then the monster mask, or as i call it "OOKABOOMALASHI" and you can get it from a glitch in Monster Mash, and event that can spawn in the Cranberry Valley (the red region)
lol I have no clue what the psyco squidward is but the reason I didn't include the monster mash mask is that although you can pick it up and wear it during and after the Monster Mash event, you can't actually keep the mask and it will disappear from your character when you log out.
Awesome!! I have managed to get one but that is also my only ever glowing mask, I'm also still missing some of the original rare masks! Crazy after all these years too!
Just show up to the event and pray to Todd almighty that you might get lucky! I ran over 100 last time the event was on and didn't get a single glowing one so the chances are small!

The normal rare masks usually sell for 30k caps but I would imagine that the glowing ones will be even more desirable, unfortunately most of the common ones are pretty worthless although some of the new uncommon ones will prob be going for 10-15k I would guess
And if you're not strapped for Caps I'd suggest holding the Glowing/Rare until Halloween. People will defo pay a 5 - 10% price increase on the normal price to have a Glowing Scorchbeast Queen (per se) during all of October.
this was an atomic shop item from a few years ago, not seen it available this time and didn't list it as I was not sure about where you can still get it from.
I was excited for this event up until I learned the mask I wanted was a damned atom shop only and its likely not gonna return in the shop because they already cycled out the current set of Masks. The Mask in question is the Ogua.
you can try to make a atomic shop request for the item through the bethesda support page - I am unsure if it is on the list of current available items but it is worth a shot.
I’ve played 3 times today and crashed twice just before the event completed so I got no rewards. I really wish they’d address the crashing issues on PS5

Haha yeah that will happen lol, glowing one is rare, non glowing is uncommon but still a new one for this event. It'll be worth quite a bit so hang onto it
awesome and good luck. In case you weren't aware, if you get the recipe for cutting fluid this is made from 2 acid, 8 bone, 2 p.water and 3 steel but breaks down to 3 oil and 1 steel so is a great way to turn junk to oil.
yeah, that was one of the first rare rewards and it only fits the t45 as there weren't many other PA then. However it is a non tradable and rare item so you may as well keep it for display as it does look cool
@@GoldenGek no I've gotten the actual father winter pa mask that wasnt tradable but I was able to apply the skin to a mask i found on power armor suit in the wild and then sell it in my vendor. same thing with the Red Terror skin I was able to apply it to a lmg that I picked up off of an enemy

I feel your pain dude, I have done a similar number and although I have managed to get one glowing mask I am still missing most of the original rare masks, loon etc that just don't seem to be dropping at all! Maybe one day I will get the full set! lol good luck!
it is not 7.91% I have try to complated over 20 times without any single robots death. But there is still no Glowing mask rewards Damn It probably changed, maybe 1% or 0.5%
About 2 days after I had released the guide the devs changed the event so that you no longer have to keep 5 robots alive to get a rare mask drop, so you can still have a chance of a rare mask even with only 1 marcher alive. The chance for a rare mask (any) is 5% The chance for a Uncommon mask (any) is 71.25% and the chance for a Common mask (any) is 23.75%. However if you are after a particular mask the odds for a rare are 0.238% per mask, for an Uncommon is 4.75% per mask and a Common is 4.75% per mask. Therefore, in theory, if you ran 100 events you should have 5 rare masks.
Idk wrf is up I've done this even 4 times not once have I gotten rewards lmao I get the pop up event completed but zero rewards this was happening with the scorch beast queen
that is very odd and def report this to Bethesda as a support ticket as they are pretty quick to respond. Not meaning to sound rude but the rewards will appear in the apparel and notes tab so make sure to tripple check before making the ticket and hope you get it sorted!
No, this won't have an update attached. It will just be like a normal Tuesday Atomic Shop update, so you won't notice the change but the event will be active.

Yes there is a growing number of people having this issue. Best thing to do is report it to Bethesda via their support page and hopefully this will be fixed ASAP
ooo no keep that any of the new ones will be worthwhile keeping. It is a uncommon but they still have a low drop rate and the unicorn ones will prob get one of the highest cap resell value after the event
i played the event every hour since they added it again and got not a single new plan. it's every time the same, doesnt matter how often i play fasnacht. i'm so tired of it😕
Well if it's any consolation, I'm in the same boat! I have managed to get one glowing mask but other than that the sun is shining bright and he's got his hat on .... but it's the bloody beret !! Lol good luck you have another week at least, then you can have a few weeks to get the music out of your head!

Yeah, I did leave that out for a reason though as you can't actually keep it. You can wear it but can't transfer it to your stash and once you log out it removes it from your character. 😪 sad times as I love that mask lol
Well that is just RNG I'm afraid, there is only a 5% chance to get one of the 21 rare masks, hence the reason they are rare. So to get any specific rare mask you have a 0.238% chance!! This is why they are worth so much on resale! Good luck though
yeah, that was my main concern when looking through the stats, lets hope they have adjusted it to have more uncommon and rare drops as they talked about recently!

Such wishful thinking ! Bugthesda had time to add more masks and muck up the loot pool even more, change the parade and make a bunch of severely over priced items for the shop but couldn't be bothered to do anything about all the afk players. Expect it to be nuked on a regular basis.
it would be great if bethesda did find a way to remove the afk players that is for sure but I don't think that will happen anytime soon I'm afraid! Make sure you have your purple cremator colour on to go with the Unicorn mask lol

Bought Fallout First and storage is still maxed out, gold bullion was about to be maxed out until the sale this weekend when I bought all of the Service Set. Script always maxing out. Caps always maxing out. Bought all the useful blueprints & camp blueprints. Item caps and storage space are just insane for an open world survival game. It's like I'm playing Diablo IV.
yes you will find that to display everything you need prob more than you can build! Thankfully the taxidermy displays don't require a display stand also!

Ran the event twice, unlocked the new candle camp item and a beer stein, second time around a glowing Minotaur. For some reason I thought the new candle camp item was going to be useful, like generating beeswax maybe? lol It’s just a small thick candle.. looks cool but, already seen players selling it for crazy caps! (20k+) It’s a friggin small candle that doesn’t do anything but generate a little bit of light. Don’t be fooled 😂

Did 3 events ZERO REWARDS, don't waste your time, Bugthesda needs to shut off the event and it's bugged with no rewards for completion. Put in an event that works😅
what platform are you on as I know there is a recognised bug that apparently they are working on a fix for. You should submit a bug report though as now it's been recognised by Bethesda you may get some rewards back once it's fixed.
@@GoldenGek since the update today, I've been disconnected during the event 2 out of 4 times. When re booting it freezes immediately, caused me to miss bot events. This is bad.
@alextacohead1352 aw crap, sorry to hear that. I would def recommend keep sending bug reports as the more they get the higher the priority of the fix they will have. Do bear in mind though that you're Internet connection will also play a factor as its a live service game so constantly needs to communicate with the servers
If yougot nothing then please make a bug report to Bethesda from their support pages as this should not be happening. Several people have now said similar so you're not on your own there but the more people that submit a report the quicker they will hopefully fix the issue. 👍
But I don't like fasnacht AT ALL no more. I came here just to say that I just left the event, this hour, and there were 18 people at the event, and not ONE of them were active. I got to the end and failed cuz of it! There need to be a way to stop people from doin that! I wasted my damn time AND ammo!
Yes, it's a good idea when you load on to check the map and if they're are lots of white dots in helvitia not moving, switch servers. Checkpoints would be a good idea, or the need to be part of a group. The prob is, the way the rewards work many people just don't have the time to play. I've done about 85 events so far and had 1 rare mask this season!!
@GoldenGek if there's no time to play then they shouldn't play. It's a wastes of EVERYTHING. These fools really justbsit around n wait to collect. There was a few times I killed the robots my damn self. There's a few events not that people are doin that at. There needs to be a way to stop it
@@jonboy2305 I understand it is irritating if there are so many afk players that there are not enough people helping complete the event but other than that it doesn't actually effect the reward you get etc. Bethesda changed the rules so that only 1 marcher has to remain alive to still get the chance of a rare reward so I would just ignore them, switch servers if there are too many etc but don't let it get to you as it's not worth stressing over as it's doubtful BGS are going to do anything to stop it.
I don't see it as a big deal the event is highly easy never had a problem with people goin afk and not completing it still. Yal cry to much about anything lol
I would disagree, the fasnacht event is a great replica for an actual traditional event and whilst the items are silly the event itself doesn't hinder bug fixes. I think we have had a tonne of good new content recently and it's also been free as well, although the community indirectly pays for it through the atomic shop (daily - feels that way anyway) updates which clearly works well using fomo to increase revenue! @GoldenGek Of course it does. Every resource used towards something else is resource diverted from actual content and bug fixes. They only do this because it's easy money for them, and this community cares more about looking pretty/silly than having real game mechanics and content.

I agree that there are many things that still need fixing but on the whole the game plays pretty well and I have not had really many real issues recently.
@GoldenGek The game is popular amongst non gamers, and the difficulty is tuned for casual players. Its popularity is the reason why everything is so watered down. BGS is clearly going for the low hanging fruit.
This event used to be fun. Nowadays it's overrun by AFK player's. Bethesda needs to do something about it. If things keep going on like this, the event is going to get nuked on every server.
I do agree about the afk players, they should make it so you have to contribute to receive any reward, so a player has to do something for one of the protectrons, even just a radtoad egg etc
it's when players crouch and walk in a corner so the game thinks they are there but they are not actually helping toward completing the event but still get a reward but the game doesn't log them out as they are technically moving.
well, I mean it's an in game copy of an actual real life event, so they can't change it much. This time at least the marchers are faster and you get a different random enemy at the end plus they added more masks and plans?!
To be honest, I'm pretty sick of Fasnacht already. Bethesda has screwed up all the seasonal events this year and keep running them too often. I wanted the treasure hunter event and mutated events but we keep getting crap like this. The loot pool for masks is absolute garbage and nothing has been done about all the afk people. That means the 2 players that actually participate will have a harder time completing just to get 87 sun masks, 26 berets and a ton of irritation for the next 2 weeks straight. Most of the new masks look ridiculous and a freaking unicorn?? REALLY??!!! Next we will have bedazzled vault suits in the game.
I agree in part although I do like this event. I think they certainly have mucked up quite a lot recently and diluting the pool of rare masks with items that do not fit the traditional fasnacht is a bit stupid! I mean maybe we'll be able to get a vajazzle on our new ghoul character hahahahaha
Well, I'm not sure it's the worst, maybe a good contender for the most irritating though lol at least there are some unique and rare rewards..... if you can ever get them to drop! Guess that is what keeps them rare though!

Started playing in May and am looking forward to my first Fasnacht.
By the end of the event....you will understand. Then think of how many years some of us when through it....

lol I have no clue what the psyco squidward is but the reason I didn't include the monster mash mask is that although you can pick it up and wear it during and after the Monster Mash event, you can't actually keep the mask and it will disappear from your character when you log out.

Just show up to the event and pray to Todd almighty that you might get lucky! I ran over 100 last time the event was on and didn't get a single glowing one so the chances are small!

The normal rare masks usually sell for 30k caps but I would imagine that the glowing ones will be even more desirable, unfortunately most of the common ones are pretty worthless although some of the new uncommon ones will prob be going for 10-15k I would guess

And if you're not strapped for Caps I'd suggest holding the Glowing/Rare until Halloween. People will defo pay a 5 - 10% price increase on the normal price to have a Glowing Scorchbeast Queen (per se) during all of October.

I was excited for this event up until I learned the mask I wanted was a damned atom shop only and its likely not gonna return in the shop because they already cycled out the current set of Masks. The Mask in question is the Ogua.
you can try to make a atomic shop request for the item through the bethesda support page - I am unsure if it is on the list of current available items but it is worth a shot.
I’ve played 3 times today and crashed twice just before the event completed so I got no rewards. I really wish they’d address the crashing issues on PS5

awesome and good luck. In case you weren't aware, if you get the recipe for cutting fluid this is made from 2 acid, 8 bone, 2 p.water and 3 steel but breaks down to 3 oil and 1 steel so is a great way to turn junk to oil.

I thought the beer stines were automatic drops..... ive done 7 events so far and only got the old old plans that everyone has.
I think it's only the standard one and the display that are guaranteed, the new ones are just in the plans loot pool
I was able to apply the father winter to a power armor helmet it was a t45 iirc
yeah, that was one of the first rare rewards and it only fits the t45 as there weren't many other PA then. However it is a non tradable and rare item so you may as well keep it for display as it does look cool
@@GoldenGek no I've gotten the actual father winter pa mask that wasnt tradable but I was able to apply the skin to a mask i found on power armor suit in the wild and then sell it in my vendor. same thing with the Red Terror skin I was able to apply it to a lmg that I picked up off of an enemy

At this point I've done more than 67 of these events and haven't gotten a single glowing mask. I might not even get one this year it seems.

About 2 days after I had released the guide the devs changed the event so that you no longer have to keep 5 robots alive to get a rare mask drop, so you can still have a chance of a rare mask even with only 1 marcher alive. The chance for a rare mask (any) is 5% The chance for a Uncommon mask (any) is 71.25% and the chance for a Common mask (any) is 23.75%. However if you are after a particular mask the odds for a rare are 0.238% per mask, for an Uncommon is 4.75% per mask and a Common is 4.75% per mask. Therefore, in theory, if you ran 100 events you should have 5 rare masks.
Idk wrf is up I've done this even 4 times not once have I gotten rewards lmao I get the pop up event completed but zero rewards this was happening with the scorch beast queen
that is very odd and def report this to Bethesda as a support ticket as they are pretty quick to respond. Not meaning to sound rude but the rewards will appear in the apparel and notes tab so make sure to tripple check before making the ticket and hope you get it sorted!
I have now heard from a number of people that they are having the same issues so it is def a game bug and not just you.

No, this won't have an update attached. It will just be like a normal Tuesday Atomic Shop update, so you won't notice the change but the event will be active.

Yes there is a growing number of people having this issue. Best thing to do is report it to Bethesda via their support page and hopefully this will be fixed ASAP

Well that is just RNG I'm afraid, there is only a 5% chance to get one of the 21 rare masks, hence the reason they are rare. So to get any specific rare mask you have a 0.238% chance!! This is why they are worth so much on resale! Good luck though

Such wishful thinking ! Bugthesda had time to add more masks and muck up the loot pool even more, change the parade and make a bunch of severely over priced items for the shop but couldn't be bothered to do anything about all the afk players. Expect it to be nuked on a regular basis.
it would be great if bethesda did find a way to remove the afk players that is for sure but I don't think that will happen anytime soon I'm afraid! Make sure you have your purple cremator colour on to go with the Unicorn mask lol

30/30 Displays... And I only started playing a month ago. Need more displays.
Bought Fallout First and storage is still maxed out, gold bullion was about to be maxed out until the sale this weekend when I bought all of the Service Set. Script always maxing out. Caps always maxing out. Bought all the useful blueprints & camp blueprints. Item caps and storage space are just insane for an open world survival game. It's like I'm playing Diablo IV.
yes you will find that to display everything you need prob more than you can build! Thankfully the taxidermy displays don't require a display stand also!

Ran the event twice, unlocked the new candle camp item and a beer stein, second time around a glowing Minotaur. For some reason I thought the new candle camp item was going to be useful, like generating beeswax maybe? lol It’s just a small thick candle.. looks cool but, already seen players selling it for crazy caps! (20k+) It’s a friggin small candle that doesn’t do anything but generate a little bit of light. Don’t be fooled 😂

what platform are you on as I know there is a recognised bug that apparently they are working on a fix for. You should submit a bug report though as now it's been recognised by Bethesda you may get some rewards back once it's fixed.
@@GoldenGek since the update today, I've been disconnected during the event 2 out of 4 times. When re booting it freezes immediately, caused me to miss bot events. This is bad.

@alextacohead1352 aw crap, sorry to hear that. I would def recommend keep sending bug reports as the more they get the higher the priority of the fix they will have. Do bear in mind though that you're Internet connection will also play a factor as its a live service game so constantly needs to communicate with the servers

If they're anything like me it's because they have too many caps to justify opening a vendor, so we sit on things until we need caps.

If yougot nothing then please make a bug report to Bethesda from their support pages as this should not be happening. Several people have now said similar so you're not on your own there but the more people that submit a report the quicker they will hopefully fix the issue. 👍
But I don't like fasnacht AT ALL no more. I came here just to say that I just left the event, this hour, and there were 18 people at the event, and not ONE of them were active. I got to the end and failed cuz of it! There need to be a way to stop people from doin that! I wasted my damn time AND ammo!
Yes, it's a good idea when you load on to check the map and if they're are lots of white dots in helvitia not moving, switch servers. Checkpoints would be a good idea, or the need to be part of a group. The prob is, the way the rewards work many people just don't have the time to play. I've done about 85 events so far and had 1 rare mask this season!!

I would disagree, the fasnacht event is a great replica for an actual traditional event and whilst the items are silly the event itself doesn't hinder bug fixes. I think we have had a tonne of good new content recently and it's also been free as well, although the community indirectly pays for it through the atomic shop (daily - feels that way anyway) updates which clearly works well using fomo to increase revenue! But thanks for the comment and I welcome your opinion 🙂
@GoldenGek Of course it does. Every resource used towards something else is resource diverted from actual content and bug fixes. They only do this because it's easy money for them, and this community cares more about looking pretty/silly than having real game mechanics and content.

This event used to be fun. Nowadays it's overrun by AFK player's. Bethesda needs to do something about it. If things keep going on like this, the event is going to get nuked on every server.

I do agree about the afk players, they should make it so you have to contribute to receive any reward, so a player has to do something for one of the protectrons, even just a radtoad egg etc
it's when players crouch and walk in a corner so the game thinks they are there but they are not actually helping toward completing the event but still get a reward but the game doesn't log them out as they are technically moving.

well, I mean it's an in game copy of an actual real life event, so they can't change it much. This time at least the marchers are faster and you get a different random enemy at the end plus they added more masks and plans?!
To be honest, I'm pretty sick of Fasnacht already. Bethesda has screwed up all the seasonal events this year and keep running them too often. I wanted the treasure hunter event and mutated events but we keep getting crap like this. The loot pool for masks is absolute garbage and nothing has been done about all the afk people. That means the 2 players that actually participate will have a harder time completing just to get 87 sun masks, 26 berets and a ton of irritation for the next 2 weeks straight. Most of the new masks look ridiculous and a freaking unicorn?? REALLY??!!! Next we will have bedazzled vault suits in the game.

Mutated events and holiday scorched / treasure hunters, are suppose to be middle or late July.

yeah I must admit I was a bit irritated when they cancelled the treasure hunters for more bloomin mothman equinox!
I agree in part although I do like this event. I think they certainly have mucked up quite a lot recently and diluting the pool of rare masks with items that do not fit the traditional fasnacht is a bit stupid! I mean maybe we'll be able to get a vajazzle on our new ghoul character hahahahaha
Do this, do that, and the big payoff is? Something they didn't even pay money for.

Well, I'm not sure it's the worst, maybe a good contender for the most irritating though lol at least there are some unique and rare rewards..... if you can ever get them to drop! Guess that is what keeps them rare though!
