Mine is almost the same. I turned my 2015 WASR 10 into an MD 63. i took the furniture that came it off and replaced with the same furniture. Mone has a Romanian hammer forged chrome lined barrel and the receiver is made in Romania. My receiver doesn't have the dimples, it has the two metal pieces of steel welded inside the receiver.above the mag well opening, serves that same purpose as the dimple. I use 20rd Hungarian tanker mags at the range. Mine has worked flawlessly for 8yrs. Ironically the numbers on my dong match the last part of the serial number on mine too. The finsh on the wood is original from the factory, it still looks minty.
I have a Russian sling on mine too, didnt care for tje Romanian nylon sling, it was too short/small.

Who built the kit? I just got a Romy underfolder (believe they called this the MD65) kit build by PSA on their receiver with a FN chrome line barrel. As far as the bolt hold open mags go, I like having the bolt hold open so I know when the gun runs dry it's better than clicking on empty. IMO

I bought this years ago from Atlantic Firearms, I also bought an MD 65 parts kit from Atlantic back when they were under $400.
