Had stayed in Conrad before and I very pleased with the resort. Their service was top-notch, the food was great, the room was excellent, and the ambience was very relaxing. Will choose Conrad again for next Bali trip, for sure!
Was wondering about this place! Had to cancel a trip that was planned to Bali during the flu season 😂 but this Conrad was on the list. Super cheap for a Conrad! The Conrad in Tokyo was a great value of Hilton reward points IMO…but not as wonderful as that Park Hyatt Tokyo! Love your picky reviews. Mine are the same (on my channel, but more low tech ! 😅 I like to also know what the crowd was like’ helps to make a decision.
Thanks for the kind words! Appreciate it :) The guests at the Conrad Bali seemed like your pretty standard mix of Americans and Asian tourists. During our stay there was a conference so the guest profile leaned a bit more towards that (meaning the pools were less used, which was great). I also heard that the lounge is now properly open and operating again so that makes the property even better!
The sand itself was fine but don't expect white fine sand. More the yellow-ish slightly coarse sand. We didn't try snorkeling nearby but I'm sure there's tour operators that offer that. I reckon that you would have to drive out a bit into the sea to get away from the sea weed. From my impressions, the water itself was clean. Not much trash or foam, if any. Of course, that can change quickly depending on the season, wind direction, etc. unfortunately. Hope that helped :)
Thank you for the kind words! In regards to your question, that's a tough one since you are basically spoiled for choice. You have pretty much every hotel brand available on Bali! Apparently, the beaches on the east side of Denpasar are nicer to swim in. So best is to narrow it down by your favorite hotel chain and see what they have in the area. Hope that helps!
When I first traveled to Bali 30 years ago I had very little money and stayed in small cottages and cheap hotels. Years later when I could afford to stay in big hotels like Conrad I didn't like it because it's cold and have zero Balinese feeling etc. Now when when I visit Bali I'm back in the small places and loving it.

Great vid. Thx. What month did you travel? With Diamond status, looking to book a basic room with the hope of getting upgraded to a suite ;)
Thank you, Matt. We went there during March.
The upgrade was quite generous and I’m sure they’ll do that for you also :)
How was the sand in the beach? Fish in the water ti see while snorkeling anywhere nearby? Trash or no trash in the water? Thanks for your reviews ❤

Love your very detailed vlog. We are visiting Bali in Sept and staying at the Conrad. Great filming too. Thank you.
Appreciate the kind words, Susan. Hope, you’re gonna have a great time on Bali!
Very good review. Which beach resort in Bali do you suggest with price range as conrad with picturesque relaxing beach?

Are you usually aiming for small local hotels or rather AirBnBs? Or other direct rental platforms?
@@unmatchedvoyages Small local hotel, small family places etc.
