Even if the train wasn't traveling very fast most of the time, you could enjoy the landscape, towns, stations and the beautiful cloudy sky in peace and quiet... 😊 It's great that here too, investments are being made in the future of the railway and that they're not always just thinking about closures and demolitions 👍👌
I just finish travelling from Kosice to Bratislava, very nice trip and country, need for sure a visit. Looking map I can discover 2 lines in Tatra mountains from Banska Bys. on north and one ost through Tatra nature, amother from Zvolen to Kosice look very exciting same. Thank you for your work and getting travel with you😊
@dominiquesuter4950 You are very welcome. I did some more Ines in Slovakia, in Tatra mountains. They will be available soon and I am sure you will enjoy watching them.
Probably best to put to 2x speed after Dugo Selo. Let us hope that track doubling and modernization work will start soon, most of the financing has been secured from CEF Transport and RRF Facility, as line has been falling apart for decades now.
Deanovec-Kutina semi- rehabilitation (that should raise maximum speed on the existing track to 80 km/h) should kick in anytime soon. Maybe autumn this year?
Your suggestion to run the video at double speed from Dugo Selo station is certainly a matter of taste, dear Zvonimir... ☺️ Although I haven't finished this trip with Rail Relaxation yet, I will NOT do it for two reasons: 1.) The processor on my TV is too weak... I like to watch Cab View trips like this on a large screen as recommended in the description 😊 Unfortunately, the technology used only allows a maximum of 1080 pixels - if I switch to double speed, the image quality automatically drops to 480 pixels shortly afterwards, making the video unwatchable on the TV!!! This also applies to my tablet, only my smartphone is powerful enough to maintain 1080 pixels even at double speed... But hey... who watches a ride in the driver's cab in THIS AMAZING QUALITY on a small smartphone screen... 🙄 2.) The pleasure of traveling and the landscape, even if only slowly, is lost at too high a speed!!! Take a ride here in Germany on an ICE at 300 km/h on a new line... the landscape shoots past you so quickly... if you even get to see it because of the many cuttings, noise barriers and tunnels... 🫤😌 But no offense... best wishes from one railway fan to another railway fan 😊👋🖖
@@wandajackson3410 My suggestion was primarily due to the fact that I'm pretty pissed off at the state of this line (which I have travelled so many times in my life) and that running it at 2x gives You a bit more feeling of what it was until about 10 years ago when it was capable of 130km/h and what it should be as a mainline. 👍
For scenery - take a day train from Zagreb to Split. It is longer than taking a bus, but it is very interesting journey with very different scenery along the route.
This time the line seems faster to me... It almost seems like an Intercity... the sizzling of the new Koncar EMUs seems like that of a fast train! Luckily this stretch should be the flagship line of the Croatian railways... It really seems like a railway from the past! A green track in some sections and a cruising speed of 80 km per hour seems unthinkable to me in a European country... Anyway, beautiful line! I hope it is updated to European standards. The stations are in a frightening state of decay. However, at least the Zagreb Dugo Selo stretch is quite new!
For a natural sequel to this video, cab ride Novska - Vinkovci - Tovarnik (all the way up to border with Serbia) was published a month ago. ua-cam.com/video/ejg6odiWirI/v-deo.htmlsi=bP-ZCRngqy5VPuvf

@wandajackson3410 Yes, there are many plans for modernisation, it is just taking too long. But, eventually, they will get there.
