Gintama introduced me to Spyair and Does and all of their songs for Gintama are bangers "Does" is the band which you thought that sounds familiar and yes they are in the op as well.
ME TOO, I already knew Spyair before but discovering it in Gintama was a totally new experience. And then Does, I fell in love with that group. Thanks to that I discovered that they have a song in Naruto opening 15 😅 Totally good. I love Does, my favorite is Kirimusibi and Know Know Know
It took me a bit before I got the time to watch this. Gintoki is definitely my favorite character, not just in Gintama, but in general I think. And something you will quickly notice is that the Gintama fandom gets a lot of male "fanservice" whether you want it or not lol The females in Gintama are all cute/sexy/attractive and all that as well, but they are not sexualized, which is something I can appreciate. Overall, Gintama has great charecters.
I dont recommend you to watch this show if you didnt watch many animes(its ok if you watched a lot of animes) because you will miss many references/parodies(Even me who rewatch many times still dont know some references)! One more thing please don't watch expecting seriousness from this show(it is one of the reason many dropped Gintama) because it is 70% comedy themed anime, serious will come gradually as it goes. By the time when you finish this anime, it may become one of your fav! Thats all I'm gonna say, good luck!(I/we will always be with you if you watch and upload in YT)Gintama is my fav anime of all time and will be forever as well!
