Car reviewers have to stop with this obsession to comper ever family size car to the golf. The golf was leading in its class in the 90s when it was the first of its class to use soft touch plastic but today it is pretty mediocre it doesnt have more soft touch plastic then the octavia/leon/megan/mazda3 nor does it is extraordinarily quiet, or offering new technologies, or spacious. It also doesnt stand out with fuel efficiency or power. All of that without munching its design wich hasn't change much since the 90s and the over pricing.
