Thanks for the video Bob! We ordered an F70 a few months ago and this was one of the [many!] videos I've watched that helped make the choice! I've always loved a Ford (I think these Transits are the best looking cabs going) and the F-Lines seem to tick a lot of boxes for the relatively good price. More floor space with the 2 bench sofas rather than the optional L dinette is the way we went so our black lab has more room! 🐾 Tyne Valley Motorhomes called today and looking like delivery in April having been told late June originally so VERY excited! Thanks for all your videos, they really have helped my wife and I with the tech side of things, and have certainly given us the inspiration to take the plunge and have some adventures of our own! 😊
Very nice layout in the Swift and everything you need in the kitchen. You seem to get more fixtures and fittings in English vans compared to our European ones, however I think I still prefer the build quality of my Burstner. It’s 5 years old and still like new inside. Wonder what the Swift will be like in 5 years. Thanks for the video Bob.
Thanks, yes we tend to want cookers and microwaves in our UK Motorhomes. We just sold our five year old Swift and I thought it was in pretty good condition.
Really enjoy your prowls around Todd's Bob. We've ordered an F70 for July to replace our Pegaso A Class which we've not got on with. The Ford is a drivers vehicle, much comfier and a little more intuitive than the Ducatos had previously. Cab accessories are more varied than the Sevel vans, the heated windscreen for instance is part of the drivers pack and the engine upgrade together with the auto box is around £2k cheaper too. Really like the Whale underfloor heating. I'm a big lad but find the washroom spacious enough but would have liked to option of a microwave and Remis Cab blinds similar to the Chausson Ford's... oh and the fridge door opens to the bedroom but is easily changed. Stay healthy guys.
Good video guys. You might want to look at Sky’s Now Tv streaming service ( works on fire stick ) . Slightly reduced channel selection but still box sets , films , live sport etc . 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for sharing Bob but the first van was for me terrible it just looked cheap and old fashioned. The Swift looked amd flowed much better for me and on your vlog was measurably lighter throughout.
Bob, Jenny: Thanks for all your amazingly informative videos. My wife and I are thinking about buying our first motorhome and are overwhelmed by the vareity of makes and layouts on offer. We turn to your videos time and time again in an effort to help us decide the best way forwards. As a first step we are considering hiring a motorhome for a week to see how we get on. Unfortunately, here in Northern Ireland the motorhome hire industry is limited. We visited one a few days ago and it was appalling! Any advice you could offer would be very welcome.
Hiring a motorhome is the best first step. You need to know if you enjoy using the motorhome, it might give an idea of what aspect you like best, and then what sort of layout you need, budget, and so on. Read the magazines, MMM and Practical Motorhome, they give good advice.
Firstly, I watched Poppy's five sites. Is the Swift control panel the same as yours? I was impressed with your video on its capability. Lastly - how is the fire stick working?
Yes the Swift Command Control touch screen panel is the same as ours. The FireTV has been really good, no issues to report, we just have to remember to take it with us!
Auto Trail. So when it’s raining your tv and magazines get wet now that’s a clever design feature. No blinds in the cab. Nett curtains look cheap. Cramped washroom. Dreadful bedroom . Only plus point is the Ford vehicle. All in all a big disappointment
Bob I think appreciates a truthful comment. Certainly if it’s raining hard and windy and you open the habitation door the tv etc will get wet as I know from personal experience.
Stephen Foreman who says I hate motorhomes? Please stop putting words into my mouth . The fact that you said you hate caravans just shows that you’re a sad individual.
Stephen Foreman you really are a sad git , I know what I said & no I’m not a fan . I didn’t say I hate them. Now shut up or I’ll report you to UA-cam & you’ll be banned.

That's great to hear, I really liked the Ford Cab on the Bailey. Really exciting times for you ahead.
Hi Bob, thank you for the reviews liked the escape xx

Thanks that, interesting to hear about the Pegaso. The Ford's cabs are definitely a step up in design.
Prefer the escape to the auto trail I like the layout, thank you for reviews.👍👍👍👍
Always need a mains socket for the managements hair drier😂
Love your videos Bob, but next time can you wear a jacket that is less noisy! 😂
Yes I thought that too. I really need a sound engineer! 😊👍
Interesting review, much of it in the dark. I was thinking that Todds need to light their van interiors so the customers can see what they're buying.
I thought the first van looked a little cheap (interior finish). The second van was OK. As usual Bob, good vlog.
Thanks for the comments.
I thought you nearly smiled their!
You should watch more of my videos.

Thanks for the tip! I'm a little reluctant to subscribe to something else, but I do wonder if Now TV could replace my Sky HD setup.
Does the Autotrail have swivel front seats Bob ?
Yes, most coachbuilt motorhomes have swivel seats, unless there is a wall directly behind them.
Hi Bob, great video, loved the layout of the Escape, beautiful van.
Yes we liked the Escape layout too, but like the Bailey Advance 76-4t.

Hi Bob, if you were forced to pick between these 2 which would you choose and why?
Probably the Autotrail as it is a Ford. 😊
@@BobEarnshawMoHo build quality? Any outright winners ?
I don't think there is that much difference in build quality between the two, Autotrail probably.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo thanks Bob. Really good vids and in discussions on an F70 with a local dealer . 👍
I always say bathroom too.

I don’t get motorhomes, absolute fortune for very little room.
No, they're not for everyone.

Autotrail, the Ford base vehicle every time.
