Thanks!
In my next life I'm coming back as Poppy and then I can enjoy traveling from the comfort of my own chair (and mummy's of course).
Thank you for the tour Bob and Jenny, looking forward to your travels.
That fridge of yours needs some cold cans of Guinness🍷 in it. Lovely motorhome for 2 lovely people. Thanks for the tour 😎👍
I am so pleased for you both. It is lovely to see your love for each other and also your generosity of spirit and kindness. I love your love for Poppy and Tara. I live alone and am very lonely but love travelling with you both.I wish you every happiness and safe travels together. Thank you
Thanks, that's really nice, there are a lot of our viewers who follow our adventures in similar positions, so in that sense, you're not alone.
i guess im randomly asking but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account?
I stupidly forgot my login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Brixton Trace Instablaster :)
@Diego Bruno Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm.
I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Diego Bruno it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much you saved my account :D
Absolutely lovely, you’ll have hours of fun. Poppy has given it her seal of approval so you’ve obviously made a wise choice.
Happy camping, very best wishes to all three of you,
I have never seen so many tea towels in one place 😁. Enjoy your the new motorhome.
Hi Bob,Jenny and poppy
Love the new van, the look on your faces says it all 😀
Looking forward to your next trip
Take care 🥂☃️
It's a beauty. Just perfect for a couple. I could fiddle around with that control panel for ages....lol.
Very detailed tour. Like the van a lot. I think I would spray the shower knob with teflon spray, so it will move better.
Don’t know if I like the cuttlery drawer inside the cupboard.
To get a spoon you will always have to open the cupboard first, but otherwise a very nice van. Have loads of fun with us,
and take us on your travels, please. Peter
We had to open the cupboard before to get a spoon, so guess we are used to that.
Looks great - really like the big table and how it moves from the lounge area and puts itself in its cupboard with no one touching it 😉
It's a beautiful van. I do have a Bailey tourer and do love it. However one day my dream is to own my own motor home. We all work hard so why not treat ourselves to a few luxuries. Enjoy the new motorhome. I look forward to seeing your videos!!!! All the best 👍
Thanks, yes we thought that, enjoy ourselves while we can.
Hello Jenny & bob, I think your motorhome is lovely & you should have what you want that makes you happy. I must say poppy is lovely too & she will enjoy the adventures, if you are ever in west wittering pop by, the beach & scenery are amazing, good luck
Thanks, will do, next we're down that way.
Love going back and watching these first few videos of Thor. They are full of excitement and happiness 👌
A beautiful van Bob and Jenny. So many new improvements Swift have made since 2017 on our van. Really excited to see you next week. Safe travels 👍🏻😄 Trev n Sue
So glad you’re enjoying your new van. Congratulations!
Thanks for the full tour really nice Motorhome I’m biased but don’t think you can ever beat a swift. Looking forward to your first trip now.👍😎❤️
It's really lovely well done guys hope to catch up soon all the best.
Chas 👍
Just had to smile at your comments re beige! My van is same colours inside as my house and your new van, brown, cream and beige lol. Safe travels next week, and have some lovely walks Poppy!
The new black... Lol.
Congratulations on your new van. Really enjoyed the tour. His and her wardrobes - just the job! Good idea re the storage unit in the side skirting (water cupboard. You will find the night light in the bedroom very handy, we have one in our Coachman Laser 6204, saves bothering the "Gremlins" at night!!!
Enjoy it and hopefully we'll meet up in the Lakes/Scotland sometime, Poppy can meet Poppy and her 3 other siblings.
Bob , jenny & poppy delighted as much as yous on your new van 👍🏼. Can’t wait to see more of your travels , yous give it your all & yous deserve it so enjoy . Poppy I think looks a bit miffed (think she prob thinks not another trial run) 🙄. Like to see her alert & settled in her own domain . So all the very best to yous both & thanks for the effort yous put in all year bringing us footage it’s appreciated greatly !! Take care god bless 💕
❤it. You know you've made it when you own a Kon-Tiki 👍
It’s always exciting when you get a new van isn’t it, and even though many of the things are perhaps not much different, it’s the fact that putting your own little stamp on it makes it special. Enjoy 👍🍻
Thanks for showing us round. I would love that van.
Really like that van, the layout is exactly how I would want it. Happy travels.
Thanks
Enjoy every Mile lovely people.
My 669 tag was a dream ...but as you say ,you will always find something that could be improved on, as you use it .
As ever high standard of vlogminship bob x jenny 👍👌
Thanks Bridget, you have a great Christmas and thanks for all your support, as always, Bob & Jenny.
just got a Swift Bessacarr hi style...basically this model but with auto gear s... outside water point and outside BBQ point.... very pleased with it
Its good you have other vans to compare with as I wouldn't and don't have a clue. Beautiful Motorhomes you have.
Lovely Bob and Jenny, very similar to our Elddis advante 574 caravan.
So down to earth and humble....I love watching all your videos, looking forward to seeing your adventures (mind your head though Mr Bob sir 🤓)
Thank you, will do.
Good video, Bob. I’ve just traded my Compass Caravan for a used Elddis Autoquest 196. First trip this weekend to push all the buttons. New to motorhoming but thanks to your videos will not be too much of a newbie. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and adventures - look forward to watching more of you, Jenny & Poppy!
You're welcome, hope you enjoy the vids.
Excellent Looking Van! Absoultey chuffed for you both! Enjoy and say hello to Poppy from my three, Susie, Benny and Peppie! See you around sometime at CMC sites
Dash cam can be fitted (suckered) to the left of the mirror and therefore you are able to close windscreen blinds at night. Wish you many happy adventures in your lovely new motorhome.
Thanks, I will try by the dashcam in other locations.
Hi Bob, I actually meant to stick the Dash cam "on" the mirror. Mine hasn't fallen off yet.
Oh I see, can't do that as the mirror is actually a rear view screen.
I've just ventured into the Motorhome life with a new Elddis 185 having had caravans for many years and have spent many nights viewing your adventures and picking up many useful tips. I shall be looking out for you both on our adventures and maybe join you both in cafe Jenny for some gossip sometime. We live in Bathgate just outside Edinburgh. Happy New Van.
Thanks, enjoy your new Elddis.
Lovely couple. Wishing you many happy holidays in your beautiful new van.
Love the layout of your motor home, similar to our caravan which we have had sell because renovations cost more than expected so will be looking forward too your adventures even more. Happy motor homing 🙂🙂🙂🙂
I was interested to see your layout. The motor home we are buying is very similar indeed even though we are purchasing from a different company in Australia. Thanks for all your helpful hints. We are still enjoying them all. :)
Its magnificent it looks amazing im over the moon for you both x looking forward to seeing you both travelling around the country good luck and make lots of memories x
Thanks a lot, lovely of you to say.
I've seen this video before, but I love looking at it again, this is what I would choose, happy camping
Thank you for watching again!
it's hilarious that this is the van we had picked out for ourselves when you toured them all at the NEC in Brum (our birth town) We are rejoicing with you and look forward to many Happy Trails in Thor with you and Poppy. Your followers in BC Canada :)
Yes thanks, we weren't so sure about it ourselves at the NEC. 😁
Good to see that Poppy has claimed her rightful position- sorry Jenny 😂
A gorgeous motor home for a lovely couple. Have a super Christmas 🎄 x
Lovely motorhome, you both look really pleased with thor ,looking forward as ever to next installment 👍
Poppy settled in well then 😀
Enjoyed the review of your new mh very thorough. Wish you both happy travels in it, looks lovely.
Hi both really enjoyed sharing your experience on getting your new motorhome and this tour round. I can remember how good I felt when I got my very first m/h in August. Keeo up the good work
Thanks a lot
Great vid Bob. We have been searching for "The right" van for awhile. Yours is close to what we want. I like your vids as they are not sales nonsense, they are owners honest opinions and explanations. looking forward to hearing/seeing more. Bob
Just watching new video loving it...just to mention you can get rubber carpet non slip gripper on Amazon, eBay (ad) 😊
Thanks, I'll have a look for that.
Or IKEA.
Great looking motorhome.
Think someone already has made it her own
I own a auto trail cheyenne 840d but this van is so nice lovley set out nice
Thankyou for sharing. You two are a delightful couple and I wish you much joy in your new van!
Thank you very much!
Sooo jealous mate. I'm a scouser living now in The Philippines and we cannot get Camper vans/homes over here. Although one or two conversions do pop up. There are companies in china 'nicking' models from Europe based on IVECO, FORD or Hyundai. No camp sites her so if it gets popular it will be 'off Road' I would say. Anyway keep the vids coming, pleasure to watch and learn. Terrah for now
Thank you.
Well done , I'm thinking of buying a motorhome at some point in the future. Not sure whether to buy one or build my own. Anyway it's looking great, I'm so glad you are plant rock fans, as I drive a VW transport for my Engineer job so I listen to that station all the time. Great vid , good luck in your new adventures. Mike
Thanks a lot, yes build your own if you have the skills and time.
Beautiful new motorhome, better than the old one (which I also admired). The trim on your seats appears to be luxurious Alcantara ;)
Thanks it does feel very nice to the touch.
Lovely motorhome health, happiness and safe journeys.
Looked at one myself a few weeks ago and nice motorhome but prefer 3500 kg and only about 250 kg payload and a 70 kg towbar and extension rails would leave nothing left for a passenger so needs a 3850 kg but then still need to watch the rear axle loading . Enjoy nice .
I will be going to a weighbridge to check the axle loadings.
You stole my van...cry cry oop's he he Wow nice van and a nice tour well done enjoy........best wishes Ken and Christine......
It looks so comfy cosy and luxurious . Very impressive bathrooming! Can't wait to see you both on a site with a cuppa in hand x
Wow your so lucky to have the money to buy such a fantastic motorhome ,your old motorhome was amazing it was only 5 years old .And you you said your not retired yet.You must be loaded ,well done iam so jealous of your life.Keep up the good work Bob with your great vlogs and i will keep dreaming of owning such a fantastic home.
We are retired, but not at state pension age yet, I keep saying retire when I mean getting to state pension age.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo well you must have one hell of private pension Bob, you have done so well in life, i wish you both the best.
hello Bob and Jenny. Enjoying your videos we ha ve a Coachan 675 Laser which we bought july2019 trading in our 6 year old Barcelona and we love it we take Dylan our 8 year old cocker everywhere with us just like you take poppy,Bob i can see your over the moon and so you should, life is too short to put things off.enjoy your travels.
Yes, that's one of the frustrating things about the lockdown. Life is too short already!
It certainly is a lovely van you have taken possession of guys and the layout would suit us too as twin fixed singles, but we will stick with our Coachman, for now... 👍🏻
Second you on the Duvalay sleeping arrangements, those bags are awesome comfy and also flexible enough to use in a number of ways, including Summer/Winter duvets and doubled up if needs be... ✅
Enjoy your travels to come, cheers, Rog... 😉 👍🏻 🐍
Yes we love the Duvalays. So flexible and comfortable.
Hi bob and jenny do you remember at hermanfest. .. I had a very furry throw... I think you should get yourselves off to tesco and treat yourself to two ....look lovely over the seats in your lounge. Happy days! 👍
After 3 outings in ours we are still puzzled by all the different locker keys. Lol
Planet Rock 😁😁😁
Excellent station Bob 😁
Swift is awesome love it
Very nice...quick tip....maybe box in the pump under the seat......easy to snag with stuff jnthe locker....
Good point
Really lovely
Thanks for showing us your lovely Motorhome 😀👍🏼
You're welcome.
Enjoy guys
Hi both we're lucky enough to have just ordered our 560 lounge witch we're looking forward to picking up in April thanks for the great videos, i'm hooked, and very excited
How exciting for you, have a great time.
Thanks for the tour. Great review 👍
I think your doing a great and informative job 😊
We want to buy a MH in a few years to spend the winters in Spain and France in retirement and this is my research period, keep up the good work both, as for criticism unfortunately it comes with the territory of putting yourself out there as you have, just ignore it don’t take it to heart
Just going to watch your video we are hoping to get our kon tiki sport next year
Thank you so much 🌻
You are welcome
Fantastic 👏 I wish you both many many happy miles together 😁😁
Very nice van you will have lots of fun in it have plenty of safe journeys
good luck with your new van hope you both enjoy it as much as you did the berlero
Love the new van enjoy, looking forward to many new videos
Thank you
Great video , thank you for the tour of your new van, it is really lovely, you both seem very happy and excited with it. Poppy seems very settled, as long as she has your seat Jenny, looking forward to your next video. Lovely couple xx
Hi love your video's and your motor home, my last motorhome around twenty odd years ago i converted myself from a 1989 Fiat Ducati high roofed long wheel base panel van in fact i had three other ready converted motor caravans before that but i always wanted to convert a van myself, but over the years motorhomes have come along way yours is a very nice conversion many happy holidays in it.
Thanks, I'd love to do a conversion myself, but afraid it would take up all my touring time!
A great video, your a beautiful couple and I wish you every happiness in and out of your new motorhome.
Thank you very much, we've had a great year with it, in between the two lockdowns!
Nice long video! Great tour of your new home from home, it looks like a very pleasant space to spend time in. I'm looking forward to future videos. Did you say it's next week you're going away?. Will you be in Thor for Christmas?
We are away next week, but not going away over Christmas.
Hi, just came across your channel, what a lovely van you have, i thoroughly enjoyed your video and your banter what a lovely couple you are, i hope you spend many years travelling around in your lovely motor home, thank you for sharing your experience and giving a tour of your amazing motorhome. Happy trails. Cheers. Andy.
Thanks for watching, hope you enjoy.
Very nice Motor Home indeed. Enjoy your Travels in her. Some van dwellers give there homes a name perhaps you should give your Motor Home a name.
Thank you, think you missed that bit, it's called Thor.
love the both of you.....thank you for your videos......you are living my dream X
Thank you so much, hope your dream becomes real, soon.
Great motorhome. Happy travels.
Beautiful motorhome
cracking van ,,hope you get to use it a bit more than the old one ,,,only kidding ,,you really do make the most of having a motor home ,,,did it come with a towbar ?
Thanks, yes we specified a tow bar.
I must say you have a lot of pots, pans , dishes and silver ware for just two people and poppy.
Never know when we need to cater for guests. No silverware though!
Just found your Chanel ....well done to the both of you ...enjoy life and the best of health
Thank you
Have you seen the vans, that I think are in big American ones where the TV slides down from the roof and fits in like a screen between the cab and lounge, means it can be slid out the way and don't stick out and also can have a bigger TV.
Yes, great if you have the space for an RV.
You said you can leave stuff on the wee lip in the shower tray as there is no shelf so I hope your cubicle is bigger than the one on our swift caravan. If you drop something in there you can pretty much forget about picking it up as the space is tiny - or maybe it’s just because I’m big 🤔. The shower in our Bailey MH is much larger than the swift and as daft as it sounds was one of the reasons we went for it.
I did see but can't remember gas/door problem on youtube, Someone insisted to the dealer and got a dealer fitted door restricter. (Happy travels)to you
Yes, think that what happened.
How I remember which way the locks on the lockers work Bob is say to myself, leftie loosey, righty tighty, works every time
We pick out new van up next week, pretty similar to yours tbh
Thanks I will try and remember that. Good luck with the new van. Let us know how you get on.
Hi Bob when you fit your fire extinguisher will you use screws or double sided tape on the fixing bracket , have yet to fit mine in a permanent position I have just had it sat loose near the tv, i ask because i try to refrain from screwing into any parts of the van.
I used some small screws to mount it low down by the habitation door.
Long as Poppys happy in the new van, that's all that matters
Bi bob and Jenny lovely van I do think the sofa lounge is better option to travel seats any day I could fiddle round all day at the gadget it's like a space ship with all them controls very homely in there have to say did u say that the new van was a 3500 kg very nice glad u happy with it .kev
Thanks, it's 3500kg up-plated to 3850kg.
Great video both of you, everything seems to be in place, except for one thing..... Where's the treasured bedroom clock Bob?? ;))
There's no suitable mains point to power it in the bedroom. 🙁
You have a fabulous motorhome there. We have the bench seats arrangement in our Starfire, which I also find preferable to the fixed table arrangement in some motorhomes.
I always enjoy your videos and look forward to future travels with you.
Question, if I may: you have mentioned your future retirement a couple of times recently. I was under the impression that you were already retired. Is that not the case?
Thumbs up, as always Bob, Jenny and Poppy.
Yes we are retired, I keep talking about state pension age as 'retiring.'
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Thanks for your response Bob, I thought it might be the case that you meant state pension age.
Great video, thanks. Looking at getting a 560. Do you miss the extra seats with the seatbelts? Still deciding between between the Sport & Sport Lounge versions.
No, the travel seats always seemed to be awkward to get and out of and only were any use if we took passengers. Even then they were fairly uncomfortable for the passengers.
Lovely Motorhome we have the problem when you open the habit door and gas locker hits it if you are not careful on are bessacarr 494 think you have done it now my wife wants the same as you now 😮love the locker space on yours 👍👍
Oops sorry about that.
No problem we get one life so let’s live it you can’t take it with you
I have a 494 and my door does not hit the gas locker door when it's open
mark berry type in bessacarr 494 hab door hits gas locker
another quick question, when a site says it's got a tv booster, do you need to pay for the use of that or if you have your own lead, can you just plug in?
Depends on the site, TV boosters on Caravan and Motorhome Club are normally free, some sites charge for the use and some charge for a cable too.
Did you ever fit the press studs to the carpets? Would love to know/see how you did this.
No, I've stuck (pun intended) with the stick velcro, seems to work fine.
Lovely van bob , we have the same layout in an older swift bolero , we love the openness of the lounge but now we’d love a fixed table ! Grass is always greener isn’t it , We don’t use the big table as it’s a pain for obstruction, we use a smaller one to put drinks / food on etc but still end up kicking the legs and spilling everything ! 😂 especially when the dogs jump up on the seats , are the beds longer in the new one ? And how’s the pick up speed compared to other van ? Thanks
Mike
Thanks, we'll see about the table yet, just like the sofa layout more than the dinette layout. The beds are longer than the old one, 6ft 7in and 6ft 4in. Not sure about the performance yet, but it certainly seems quicker, but then I've not driven it loaded up yet.
Enjoy your new van great video
