jose was guest on their album---they always add a different vocalist or 2 for studiowork, jose just happened to be one of the best so far---and he toured with them.
Zero 7 - Crosses - Lyrics Don't you know that I'll be around to guide you Through your weakest moments to leave them behind you Returning nightmares only shadows We'll cast some light and you'll be alright We'll cast some light and you'll be alright for now Crosses all over, heavy on your shoulders The sirens inside you waiting to step forward Disturbing silence darkens you sight We'll cast some light and you'll be alright We'll cast some light and you'll be alright for now Crosses all over the boulevard Crosses all over the boulevard Crosses all over the boulevard Crosses all over the boulevard The streets outside your window over flooded People staring, they know you've been broken Repeatedly reminded by the looks on their faces Ignore them tonight and you'll be alright We'll cast some light and you'll be alright
Actually this is band do remixes and alternative versions of some songs, they begin with radiohead, and for the album of the garden they work with Jose Gonzales directly.
allseeingi was just about write a comment about how Fleetwood Mac this track sounds but you've already done it! Strange, since I bought this album when it was released way back when and I've only just had that epiphany.....
Yes, I hear it now that you say it! But the tracks José sings on make me think of Stephen Stills. Not so much the tone of his voice, but the phrasing, especially some of Stills's later solo work. Futures also sounds very CSN to me with the vocal harmonies. But I also hear a little King Crimson in some of the baselines on this album and ELP in some of the doubled vocals and synth flourishes. But it's the driving tempo of this one that puts me in mind of Blue Oyster Cult/Don't Fear the Reaper, especially about halfway in when it really gets going. BTW, I was a sophomore in college when Rumors came out and until I listened to that entire album had no idea what a badass band Fleetwood Mac was. They could do some serious jamming!
@information213 What an annoyance, no other people but advertisers force stuff into video comments like this. Please keep your religion to yourself, if people want to find out about it, they'll do it own their own. As for the song, it's just great. The entire album is fantastic from start to end. Jose and Zero 7 is quite a match.
@louiseduvee ---Thank you for the comment on my video, i have looked at your art and love it, great idea using nail polish, my daughter had used it before when hard up for a medium age 10, lol! I am sorry to read about you AS, I am a nursing student with 2 semesters left and have become a strong advocate for alternative ways of dealing with pain and the stress of pain management, its too bad medical marijuana is not legal in Tenn.

Zero 7 - Crosses - Lyrics
Don't you know that I'll be around to guide you
Through your weakest moments to leave them behind you
Returning nightmares only shadows
We'll cast some light and you'll be alright
We'll cast some light and you'll be alright for now
Crosses all over, heavy on your shoulders
The sirens inside you waiting to step forward
Disturbing silence darkens you sight
We'll cast some light and you'll be alright
We'll cast some light and you'll be alright for now
Crosses all over the boulevard
Crosses all over the boulevard
Crosses all over the boulevard
Crosses all over the boulevard
The streets outside your window over flooded
People staring, they know you've been broken
Repeatedly reminded by the looks on their faces
Ignore them tonight and you'll be alright
We'll cast some light and you'll be alright
Fabulous piece of music

Is this the band from José Gonzalez, or did they just remixed the song?
