My group has been playing CoC 7e for the last 6 months and just made the move to Delta Green last week. Your videos are wonderful and are helping me understand the game better. Thank you so much.
I've covered the six main differences (hypergeometry, -INT skills, Weapon Lethality, "Home", Bonds and the Sanity rules) - once you understand these differences it's just a variant on BRP.
@@BudsRPGreview tried looking it up, can you post a link or direct me to one, I’d love to see the game. Been a fan of Seth ever since I’ve been gearing up to run a coc/delta game.
I would imagine that a character with a core belief that there is no, and has never been any God could be excellent at using hypergeometry. For example, that character may see such rituals as an advancement of current scientific knowledge in a way that'd be comparable to showing photographs from a space telescope to a medieval monk. Kind of like "You are capable of understanding this, you just don't have access to the framework or technology to get this information yet"

I'm glad you find them useful. Cheers!
Thanks for the vid. This series has been a great way to intro new players to the system.
I like the take on Mythos magic in the Laundry Files by Charles Stross - magic is math is programming...
Hypergeometry is an intresting idea, magic in space kinda
I'm so glad you decided to do this series. It has been a bit of a challenge to understand the nuanced differences between Delta and Call.

In your opinion an Atheist character would be incapable of using hypergeometry?
Hypergeometric energy is unrelated to belief in a deity. It is simply there, and the existence of it can be proven by seeing someone weild it.
