I reversed my type 2 diabetes by switching to a keto/carnivore diet! I was able to eliminate 3 different pills, and daily insulin injections. I was also able to eliminate 2 different blood pressure meds as well.
Love your channel, what you are doing and why you are doing it. Creating a month NEWS type video is a great idea. I don't always have time to catch all of your videos but a news channel could summarize everything within the month and help lead people to more detailed videos. I think breaking into your interviews, new stuff, a future look. "Did you know?" and a few Q&A with viewer comments would be a great start.
Hey, so ask somebody who works in emergency management and has dealt with satellite phone technology for years, unfortunately Apple’s isn’t very different. In order to use the satellite technology you need to be outside with a clear view of the sky and horizon. Cities are terrible places for this, but on the plus side if you are hiking and need emergency help this would be a great feature!
@@BK-pc3ei yes, GPS is abit different then satellite phone technology. Phone GPS doesn’t only rely on satellites for location it utilises several other tools to assist in locating you.
you can create scheduled reminder notifications with the Reminders app, or add notifications 1 hour before a recurring event in the calendar app, so that should take care of the reminders without needing to use scheduled texts to yourself (which would be extra work since they don’t recur)
Love you channel. To schedule a text for sametime every day you can already do that via Apple shortcuts!!! I use to do that for my daughter when she moved out as she’d forget her long lasting insulin. So every night 10pm she’d get a message and then at 10:15. Hope this helps everyone. Please reach out for assistance setting up
I use Alexa to remind me, it then alerts in a room you pick & on your phone & watch. It does it every 3 days for pump & every week for sensor. It’s brilliant for reminders. It also works for meds etc
I’m waiting for Apple to develop a feature for the Apple Watch that can accurately deliver blood glucose readings, this would eliminate the expense and use of CGMs. Apple may be able to produce an Apple Ring that would provide B/glucose readings.
Medical device regulations of FDA or european union are hard to meet, and any company that has patents is that field will use those patents to protect the multi-billion business of devices that require expensive consumables. Even if an optical measurement device would cost 500 euros/CHF/USD... it would likely be functional for many years. Dexcom's valuation is 27 Billion USD... that pays for many lawsuits for patent infringement and alike. Any company that has done serious research in optical glucose measurements would likely be seeing a hostile takeover.

I love your videos and appreciate your focus on diabetes. I am 52 and have had Type for 34 years and pumping for 24 yers. I have been on the Tslim for the past 4 years and now switching to the Mobi. I use the Dexcom G7. Unfortunately, I have to wear the G7 on my stomach due to the frequent loss of communication with the pump when I wear on my arm. I have watched several of your Mobi videos. Is there any feedback you can give me with the Mobi? In my 24 years pumping I have been on several different pumps. Tandem, Medtronic, Disetronic etc. Any feedback would be great. I have an Apple phone and Apple Watch 10. Thanks.
That would have been really helpful when I was pregnant. I was able to stay withing perfect range for the time that I was pregnant, but, it may have helped once things started to go wrong at 7 months. She's fine, she is turning 21 next month.
Most of the time my glucose value shows on my Apple Watch face, but there are days when the glucose value just disappears. Not sure why, but it reappears several hours later.
Should get the g7? I have it from the g6 and what a difference it makes? Not to mention it also takes only 26 minutes to connect to a new sensor as oppose to g6 2 hours

Is there a smartphone utility that determines if & how a medication will affect my bloodsugar? Examples include Tramadol or steroids. I once was prescribed Tramadol & passed out from hypoglycemia within 30 minutes. ER doc said that a T1D should never be given Tramadol. A quick app would have been helpful. Perhaps a non-hallucinating AI would be preferable?
Many people find g7 not nearly as accurate as g6. Many people’s g7s also lose connection often with their phones/pumps. Because of these reasons, many people went back to using g6. My pump/phone lost connection with my g7 quite a few times in the last three hours. I’m disappointed in the g7 compared to the g6 but am staying with g7 since the g6 will eventually be discontinued.
I do have problems with it disconnecting sometimes but I still prefer it over the G6, hopefully they will work to solve the current issues with it. I don’t use an insulin pump. I don’t know why they can’t update it to give readings every minute like the Freestyle Libre
