Ok, Hindus you need to understand you have no idea how fortunate you are that you have such spiritual giants as Swami Vivekananda, Ramakrishna, Rama and such. You are fortunate that you have a full written history of Hinduism. You are fortunate that you have a principal orientated religion, you are fortunate that Hinduism is a living, breathing and growing religion that has capability of changing with the times and not being stuck in time like Christianity and other religions. You are fortunate that you have history, Christianity does NOT have a full history like YOU do!!!

Yeah, I seemed to have gotten one to stay up when I substituted assholes for rude, but I'd have bro check if it got taken down since then because I only reloaded a couple times before doing other things for the day. I'm a Brazilian gypsy. My ancestors were mostly Hindus, probably. I'm very amazed by Hinduism since some years ago but just recently I have learned deeper the religion ( I know about its differences) and it brings me such amazement. It fits into my understanding about the world and I feel too much connected to the deities something that I couldn't even explain clearly in the past but you've made things clear. I will keep it up, always studying in order to understand further.

The demon Rakthabeej signifies ones bad karma. For example when you lie you create a bad karma for yourself. To hide that lie, you speak more lies and create more karmas for yourself. Bad Karma is rakth beej. One bad karma multiplies and eventually creates so many karmas. Thank you. This really helped me understand a subtle abuse that has happened since I began following Hinduism. I really just realized it. Generally, Christians are not understanding of Hinduism, they believe their religion is the only one and this is discouraging but also leftists/atheists/intellectuals are like this as well. These people have been my "friends" and "community" for many years, many of them claiming to be "spiritual" but only as it is intellectually useful.

Atheists and Ex-Muslims in particular strongly believe that religion needs to be desecrated regardless of its past or philosophy. Their core belief is based on the ideology of militant atheism and denial. So I don't think it will help even if "Hindus were to robustly and sincerely articulate the glory of Sanatan dharma". Trust me there were few who did try this on twitter and they were still mocked. Ex-Muslims are not interested in any rational argument that makes their ignorant stance weak because their objective is only to trigger and provoke people by bashing their religions in the name of free speech.
@Akash Kumar The approach should be to not empathize with them or their cause no matter you how much you disagree with the Islamic ideology. I still see many staunch Hindus supporting Ex-Muslims without realizing their malicious intent to desecrate all religions including Hinduism.
Secondly don't react to their intentional provocations because they use that reaction as validation to justify their ignorant views and play the victim. Remember their opinions are like trees without fruits when it holds no intellect and wisdom about the Sanatan tradition. So it's best to ignore them.

As a Christian, I do agree that everyone needs to stand for their own convictions, and believe something firmly based on a foundation of experiential and scriptural evidence, and rational thought - not because our parents believed it. You're also right in that the only way to properly defend your faith is through experience, scripture, and rationality - I'd say an emphasis on the rational, because it is the universal language of validity. I wouldn't say that intellectualism isn't deliberately arrogant, but because some do expect spirituality to operate on 100% material logic, it does lead to the intellectual's contempt of that spiritual explanation, because it can't be scientifically proven - once our reasoning and evidence steps out of the observable, we don't use science, but philosophy. We ought to swallow our pride when getting to know and understand spirituality - well said.
For some, civil discourse is a self-evident solution, but for others it is just a distant option, clouded from their vision by emotions. Thanks for this much-needed video, I look forward to watching more of these videos to understand the faith, and to empathise more with the hindu worldview👍🏼

@Amit Verma Make no mistake - I think there's a big difference between saying a religion is wrong, and just deliberately being disrespectful. When people make comments to try and upset people, it's just talk - at the very most, an opinion. Such a statement has no value if it isn't paired with justification, which is what I think Armin is doing (I haven't seen his content). However, to claim a religion is wrong, one needs to back their stance with a very good reason. If someone had a good reason to state that a religion is wrong, I think it's important to listen to it, analyse it, and try to respond with a good defence - not to take it as an insult and walk away. I say this, because all worldviews, no matter how respectful we can all be towards them...they are in fact worlds apart. They all have different spiritual and philosophical derivatives, and correspond to different spiritual implications. Hinduism is not at all Islam, Buddhism is not at all Christianity, and Judaism is not at all Sikhism. If one of the world's religions is correct, due to the law of non-contradiction, it only follows that the rest are wrong. That's just my thoughts🤔
@Amit Verma I have to agree. Although any form of evidence, no matter how powerful it is for one's argument, can always be criticised and judged to look worthless, it still has to stand the test of truth. A truthful and honest source of evidence is any debater's greatest arsenal. I think the best thing one can do to people who deliberately spread false information for the sake of personal gain is to starve them of that social attention that they selfishly crave.

Devi or (divine mother) is the personification of fundamental creative energy of the universe. There is no place in the existence where she is not present. I would not say that all "western minds" are unable to understand Kali. Let me explain my theory about Abrahmic atheism.
Here is my theory about why white Westerners become atheist or anti-religion. Atheism in West is considered a kind of virtue and atheist are often conceited and contemptuous of religious people. It happened because Christianity played a very important role in the social and political life of Europe. The Church exercised great control over the politics. But Christianity was very narrow minded and illiberal in its outlook. After the Renaissance, new scientific discoveries were made like geocentric theory and evolution. These were vehemently opposed by the dogmatic Church and soon there was conflict between science and religion. Christianity because of its theological character debilitated the progress of the individual and society towards science and rationality. It provide answers to existential questions but debilitated the mind from becoming rational and logical. Slowly Westners realized how much harm Christianity had done towards humanity and society need to be liberated by the shackles of religious dogmatism. Because of their experience with Christianity, Europeans came to believe that all religions throughout the world were like Christianity and needed to be done with. Of course ,they were not honest and contemplative enough to understand how belief systems of other people had played important role in their civilization's advancement and were not illiberal and conservative like Christianity. How could colonial expansionists like the British realize that religion of Indians was much better than their Christianity? Wouldn't that realization be against their sense of superiority of race which inspired colonial expansion? Western atheists position is like that of a man who has been cheated by his wife/girlfriend and now he thinks that all women are evil and starts to hate feminists and womankind. Not all atheists were dishonest, I would suggest one should go and read views of Friedrich Nietzsche and Arthur Schopenhauer on Hinduism and Buddhism. Not that Hinduism needs validity from atheists but just want to show there are other perspectives to things as well and you should not be dogmatic and categorical in your approach.

What does this has to do with comedy? Comedy has no boundaries even Hinduism cannot resist it. You can deliberately avoid it by shutting people's free speech, but that's really terrible thing a human can do-to shut other' speech. So if someone made fun of Hinduism just ignore that.
