Wait, so you're saying you don't have to do it? 👀 All my life I thought that's the only thing you can do against it 😅Then this guy shoots a light arrow and makes me reconsider my life 🤯
As a kid when he started to charge his attack, the super spin attack was the first thing that came to my mind. "He is charging a attack, so I should charge too"
It surprises me that there are people who don't immediately think to use the spin attack. Even if you get hit by it because you're not sure what he's doing, I feel like it's hard to forget that you have an attack that can hit multiple things at once.
I knew about the spin attack for deflecting the super charged up attack he does, but I did not know you could interrupt his charge up with a light arrow, or that you could hook shot back to the windows! I was just thinking of doing a play through again too! Thank you
Thought I was the only one who knew this, and it makes sense; trying to hit him with a light arrow doesn't normally work because he's focused on you, you have to create an opportunity by stunning him. When you've hurt him enough, his rational thinking goes out the window in favour of 'Right, I'm going to annihilate this kid', and in turning his attention to forming his strongest attack he takes his eye off you, presenting you with the chance you need. I didn't know he and the walls were Hookshot-able though!
seeing this like this makes me feel sad sometimes; I’ve played this game so many times I actually forgot what Ganondorf’s supercharged attack even looks like, I literally haven’t let him do it in almost 20 years. Poor guy.
The stained glass bieng hookshot-able, doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, but I knew because I was trying to get back up after falling, and the hookshot just happened to work Being able to hookshot gannondorf is actually one of the faster ways to get to him when he’s down, so it’s semi-useful speed tech
I thought the spin attack was the only way to reflect the giant energy ball. My thinking was he is charging his magic so I'll do the same to counter him. I didn't know you could just shoot him mid charge.
One time while fighting Ganondorf, I was dead man volleying his energy ball and a glitch occurred where it went right through him! It’s almost like he DBZ style dodged it by jerking his head lol
And this is why The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is THE BEST Zelda game! If there’s EVER a remaster on Switch or the rumored Switch 2, I’m trying this. The fact that this game came out the year I was born, and played the GameCube version, I NEVER knew we could do this. Then again, I’ve ALWAYS got stuck on Goron Village.
If you don't use the spin attack for the cool factor you're doing it wrong.

Yep. I felt awesome as a kid. Ganondorf charges his attack, so it only makes sense to charge my own.

Yeah because there’s not too many good opportunities to use it, so when you get here you’re itching for the perfect moment. And the game delivers.
It’s far easier to counter Ganondorf’s charged attack than it is to play tennis with him too.
Deflecting his Kamehameha with an empty bottle made me think I was a god as a child
Me too
Only one I knew about was a spin attack. The idea popped in my head, and I felt like such a boss that it actually worked 😂

im the opposite lol, I knew about the arrows, but not the spin attack. Also never knew about the hookshot thing (or that you could hookshot him lol)

I am super thankful that I now know I can longshot ganondorf and the walls this will help me significantly
I loved to Hookshot the ceiling, then kill him with a Jump Attack!

The charged Spin attack also speeds up the normal light ball he throws at you, making the fight a bit more challenging
So the idiot just leaves himself open for attacks like that? Just, charges an attack and leaves himself totally vulnerable?
Wow
I always did the spin attack and hookshotted ganondorf. Didn’t know about shooting him with light arrows during the charge or hookshotting the wall.
I mean i just jump over
Not as fast
......Huh, I thought this was supposed to be a use for the Hover Boots.
That's why Majority get hit by Ganondorf. 😂
I always just jumped over😮
the spin attack was how kid me did it the whole time i later found out about cheap shot to stun him instead.
I knew about the light arrow mid charge, and the spin attack, but not the longshot i didn't know, and it is so cool that you can.
Light arrow during his charge i did not kno
Such a cool game, still looks so awesome
I don't even remember the black sphere.
Happens when you’re close to killing him. It is possible to not see this if you beat him fast enough
Yeah, I know that trick.

I’m surprised at the amount of people who don’t know some of these tricks

Finally, someone that gets it.
I always used the light arrows when he started to charge the attack. I thought that’s what you were supposed to do!

I actually did know. I was bored one day and then I did this.
Didn't know you could use the Hookshot on the windows

just play the original. You can emulate it. Switch sucks and is too expensive
Only one I didn’t know about was hookshotting the walls
Erm what the dorf
Amazing! i cant wait to use this 20 years ago!
You can use it today if you have the Nintendo switch and buy the yearly membership.
Yo siempre le tiro un flechazo cuando carga su ataque porque es más rápido
