Great video comparing these sets. I'm very close to ordering the Simjacks now. One question. The Simjack you linked shows €196 of shipping costs for me. They have another product where the pedals are called Ultimate instead of Ut in the one you linked. Do you reckon it's the exact same pedal set, just a different product page?
For the simmson software you have to save your settings to a file. Then when you adjust a pedal, you make the adjustment and then click write, then save to that file again. This way the settings for the other two pedals stay as they were.
My simjack UT arrived today. Mine came with a thicker throttle spring 2mm thick and chrome colour. The old spring was still included in the box that is 1.5mm thick.
great video mate. lots of channels only focus on the very top end of sim racing gear. its refreshing to see more budget options with a in depth review.
I really appreciate you doing the direct comparison I’ve been agonizing over which to choose for my first LC pedals and your reviews helped me decide on the Simjacks although i’m having second thoughts seeing the Simmson Xs that just came out haha.
I'm curious about this as well. I read some people who said they removed it from the brake because they found it interfered with the Load Cell feeling.
I've got the Simsonn Pros, becauce when I got them, they had the edge over the Simjacks, but now it seems like the Ultimates has a slight edge over the Pro Plus. Oh well, I'm quite happy with them.
Thanks for the extensive review, very thorough as always. In your opinion, do you think these compare favourably against the Moza CTP v2 pedals? Would you be able to do a comparison please?
Just ordered SIMSONN Pro PLUS. They are still cheaper than SimJack and they include pedal plate. Can you maybe try to use SimJack controler box with Simsonns pedals? Just wondering if there is an option to switch them and use SimJack software on Simsonns pedals and have better shielding.
i went with the simsonns just before they both got the last updates. they had better shipping for the price at the time. that stock brake spring was only any use with the old white rubbers. did you not get a set of them in the box? mine came with the black spring and 30 shoreness white rubbers installed. they was a soft mush but i know some people like a soft pedal...not of me. tbh i found all the spring and rubber combo to be a mushy mess. i tried your setup tips and found it better but iv'e ended up with a more vrs style feel. i run 2 different rubbers (x2) with them calibrated so the crossover is around 80/85%. it gives me great feel and a noticeable step up in force needed for where i setup the brakes in game to kick into the abs. i never lock up panic braking now and my trail braking is much better. i only brake full on at speed as it takes a conscious effort to push into and past the wall for the high speed stops. the gas struts are pointless on both the brake and clutch imo. you do want a better spring in the clutch if you are used to a stiff pedal. i run a red which feels great. the strut is what makes the accelerator so nice imo. any plans to test the rgb simsoon ut? or even both of these sets with the huesinkveld ut upgrade kit? i have seen others online claim that is a bolt in upgrade for all 3 of the clone style setups. oh, the software issue...100% user error bro.
Thanks mate, but unfortunately after I bought the simsonn new break pro plus pedal cause i already have the simsonn pro set, they lunched the new Pro X, cN we have soon a review on it?
Hello, I bought my simsonn pedals like 2 months ago with a full package with those gas cylinders. When I first used them they had a very good resistance especially on a gas pedal which I liked very much, so I suppose that was a resistance of that gas cylinder, because spring is kinda not that tough. On the 2-3 day after using pedals I found out that the resistance of both gas and brake pedals became much weaker. Is that gas cylinders broke or it is supposed to be like that that they lose toughness? Just want to understand. Thanks!
I can even see that resistance which I had on the start of using you have on a video here, you hardly push them with arms, now I can push throttle pedal with just 1 finger
Did your example of the Simsonn pedals not include the little collection of springs for the brake? Mine came with a selection of die springs, probably to address the absolutely useless stock spring. Still had to modify the plastic spacer and smooth the rods from clutch and throttle, but I did expect there would be a "non-monetary surcharge" to pay for buying cheap knockoffs.
@@XxSetTripp1n Scraped off plastic with an x-acto knife from the spacer with only one protrusion, to make it fit into the metal backplate. Keeps the rod centered.
@@XxSetTripp1n Left that out. The spring fits just fine over the rod. Got it all nicely greased up, should be fine for the few hours a week I get to use my rig.

I would be interested to know how the pedals compare to well-known brands such as Fanatec or similar.
Simjack and Simsonn are easily the best value in the sub $400 price range.
fanatec is a very low bar
No other brand compares at these prices😅
Do you recommend the hydraulic rods? If you do, on one pedal or all three?
