After four years of using the G29, I finally decided to upgrade to these pedals. I ordered them last week and am still waiting. My only hope is that they’ll give me more consistency.
They will. Hadn't much time yet to try them but almost drove my best time (g29) on brands hatch while driving really bad (did not practice much the last weeks)
Youre officially my favourite sim hardware channel. I also got a bit of regret that i didnt find you sooner, i couldve saved some money. Keep on doing what you're doing , it's great !
Hi, I received my PRO X Monday December 2nd. I too had to take Simjack UT. To this day, I am very happy to have made this choice. With a little adjustment effort, the brake delivers, in my opinion, a very pleasant feeling. For gradual braking, I think this system is really effective for me. In real life, I do a few track days, on a 370Z Nismo, and I must admit that the linearity at the start of the travel of the new brake pedal is remarkable, thanks to the possible travel adjustments on the pedal (and also by including the 2 large green and blue elastomers and actuator set to 1). After this linear stroke, you arrive at your elastomer stop, and have the sensation of grip towards more powerful braking (famous sensation). Depending on the elastomers installed, you finally feel the precise progressive force, which takes you to the limit of wheel locking. This remains my humble opinion which may perhaps help you, while of course awaiting the expertise of SRC. Thank you SRC for all of your friendly videos.
I got my set a few days ago and...they're incredible! At least they are after taking some time to get them all properly adjusted. Out of the box, the pedal feel is pretty bad. You absolutely can setup a two-stage (non-linear) feel on the brake pedal. I'm coming from the Logitech G29 pedals which feel like a baby's toy in comparison. I plan to post a review of them on my channel soon. NOTE: Out of the box, the brake load cell on my set was not adjusted correctly which caused the brake to max out without much pressure. Fortunately, after some tinkering, I found the adjustment, turned it a quarter turn, and that totally solved the problem.
Will get them probably tomorrow. I hope I can dial in the brake pedal :D edit: they arrived. Could not really test them yet. But can't wait for the review and how what might be the best set up for the breaks as I am fairly new to these kind of pedals (coming from Logitech G29)
@@Lawson_5 yes, they arrived but I am still fine tuning as these are my first "real" pedals as I am coming from the G29. But so far these pedals are worlds apart. I really can feel my car now. Everything works and the software is easy to set up. But I will wait for some videos about setup tipps as I am a newb
Got them yesterday. It took me a bit of time to set it up. Used Simsonn software purely for lights then used diview for calibration. Hydraulic damper is only for feel which is remarkable. I wouldn’t recommend higher than 3 on it unless you’re Hercules. For brakes If you have a solid rig I will immediately remove the red(60) elastomers for green(80)/blue(90) combo or both blue. It felt way too easy and too much travel for my liking, switched elastomers and preloaded spring as far as it goes. For throttle also too much travel I cut that down by almost 40%. Overall very much satisfied, can’t compare to sim jack uts or older simsonn pedals as I haven’t used them before. Be prepared to tinker a lot to set it up to your liking. I guarantee you it will not be ideal straight out of the box. Hope this helps.
@@Andr3smarin8 You will have to be mentally prepared that you'll be tinkering with it a lot to get it working right. hydraulic damper on brake helps a little with trail braking, a bit too strong on any setting other than 1-3. While nice it is not a game changer. I will also strongly advice getting better elastomers as the ones from simmsonn are starting to get deformed and squeak a bit after 2-3 weeks use. I kinda found it useful as another tool to gauge how much I've braked. brake comes with a hydraulic damper, only throttle and clutch you can buy the pneumatic dampers, again nice to have but nothing too special.
since you will be adjusting a lot at least in the beginning, another thing to note is if your pedals are easily accessible, which wasn't the case for me and it was quite a bit annoying.

I recently purchased the Simnet pedals with the haptic motors based on your review. They work great so far. I do wish the had bigger pedal faces. The software woks pretty much the same. My point is that your reviews on these less popular pedals are very informative and I feel comfortable making a decision on whether to buy or not.

I've got a set of these being delivered on Friday. Originally planned on getting some Simjack UTs but was intrigued by the hydraulic damper and potential for adding haptics using the Simsonn control box, so I took a gamble on the unknown to take advantage of black friday deals. I'm particularly interested in knowing if the control box will run Simagic or Simnet haptics, as Simsonn has not released any of their own yet. Any chance you could test that during your review?
Can you try the Simagic haptics connected to the SIMSONN box? Would love to know if they are compatible with the SIMSONN (as they are with the Simnet), and then I can save a box and a USB port :D
yes, I was wondering when you were going to get a set of these to test. I spotted them for sale last week thou there were no reviews around at the time. These pedals are on my watch list as they are just over half price compared to the Moza CRP pedals.
Well, it's an interesting way to add adjustability, but you can't make it too stiff, or you'll never engage the elastomers properly for a progressive feel. I think that spring is still a big weakness on the Simsonn pedals. It needs to be swapped out for something that can max out with less travel and allow the elastomers to engage. With this setup the spring should really just be there to hold the elastomers in place and engage the elastomers when the spring is completely collapsed. Then all the initial damping should be done by setting the hydraulic rod to whatever you want. Maybe there's a way to mod this to do that. But it doesn't look like it's doing it now.
@@SimRacingCorner no sorry, I was just saying Wheel base has a rj12 connector. Not rj45. And I’ll be happy to hear your advice about this point if you can test it!!
