MOTU is missing. The M2/M4 are really great.
Thanks for the input. I am not familiar, but I will look into this one.
@@learnprorecordingit's also what I use M4 by MOTU. I say it sounds great.
motu m2 is ok for a workstation/studio setup. but for streaming purposes or a general use setup i wouldn't suggest it. i've had horrible driver issues with mine for anything that isn't music.
@@combatplayer I never heard of that problems. How does music differ from voice driver wise?
@@sonyphotoguy6601 whenever i open a game or something the mic input will die entirely, no sign of it happening, the screen still shows mic activity on the M2 itself but the computer gets nothing. the only thing that fixes it is rebooting the motu m2, but itll just cut out again a few minutes later anyway. i've also had noises in the headphone output which is annoying. shame too because i really like the thing otherwise.
Thx you for the 411. I would appreciate your help with selecting. It's time for me to upgrade. Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 (3rd Gen), PreSonus AudioBox 1818VSL: , Mackie Onyx Producer 2·2:, Behringer UMC1820, Steinberg UR44, & Tascam US-4x4HR. What would be your recommendation? I want more I/O better preamps & converters.
My current interface is Focusrite 2i2 1st Gen, which still works. HELP!
Is it that you need more inputs? How many inputs are you looking for?
These Videos are so Helpful! :)
Thanks, glad you like the content.
What about Audient Id4
TBH - I have the Audient 4816 in my Studio A as the main console. I love the preamps and the EQ is awesome. I also have the id4. It worked great for a year and a few days before it completely died. No offense to anyone who loves the Audient customer service, but basically they said "Sorry, our warranty is only 1 year. You'll have to buy another one" - So I bought an Apollo twin instead. But - I do like the preamps on the Audient......Again, these top 5 lists are simply my opinion. I am not trying to alienate anyone. Thanks for bringing up the Audient. It is a good choice for the money.
@@learnprorecording 😊 , I am planning to buy Lewitt connect 6 but confused about the sound quality, please help
@@PODCASTSHALA I'm not familiar with their interfaces. But I have used their microphones and the quality is there, for sure. All I can say is try it. But before you buy it check the retailer's return policy just in case. For that amount, I would look into the SSL - But that's just my opinion. Maybe do a little more research on UA-cam, etc.
3:12 Wrong Info on Arturia Mini Fuse 2. It has MIDI ! Only the smallest Modell 1 has no MIDI ports.
Oops! You are correct. I was looking at the other one when I said that. Thanks for pointing it out. I appreciate you.
What about Scarlett Solo gen3 for 100 bucks?
Absolutely! Especially if you only need one input at a time. The preamps on the Focusrite are on point.
Bro u put ssl in 3rd and focusrite in 1st? Any of us who used or use both knows that's bull man. Focusrite great yes but 2,3,4 g not 1st g they terrible. Ssl2 it's up with audient mk2 both amazing interfaces.
I agree. But this is my opinion. I prefer the Focusrite preamps to the SSL. Although, I approve of the SSL name. And, I own quite a few pieces of SSL gear in my studio. My dream console is the SSL Origin - ( Been saving my pennies). But, in this price point, I prefer the sound of the Focurite. Again, just my opinion. Thanks for the comment! 😉
Behringer UMC202HD is one of the best budget interface.
And those Midas PreAmps don't suck!
Is Presonus 24c a bad purchase?
I'm not familiar with that exact model. But Presonus is a good name. As long as it fits your needs and is within your budget, I say give it a shot. You can always upgrade later if you feel the need. Work with what you've got, make your money. Remember, my Grammy-winning studio started as a laptop and a M-Box on my dining room table.
@@learnprorecording thats True. Thank you very much!
