    Thank you soooooo much for making this video!!! I literally couldn't sleep last night thinking about this and was considering booking a private transfer as I'll be on my own with my young daughter. This has made me think that I can do it!!! Thanks so much!!

      You can do it! Maybe make some notes for the journey step by step in your phone so if you panic you can refer to the notes.

    Thank you so much for this very clear and helpful video. I will be going with my family in March 2020, and this is the route we propose to take. Thanks again.

      I must admit to being nervous. I'm going with my children and five grandchildren. I was really grateful for how you showed the RER ticket machines - really clear. We haven't yet bought our Eurostar tickets because they haven't gone on sale yet. Is it VERY much cheaper to go this more indirect route? Thanks.

    Very informative. Have I seen this vlog yesterday, we wont be able to spend an extortionate amount of money using the Magic Shuttle. With the ongoing strike and the language problem, we were told to go to board another train.

    This is a very clear and helpful video, thank you. We are visiting again in April 2020. How did you find taking your cases through the ticket barriers? Do they have wider ones like they have in London?

    • @FairyGodmother

      They do have wider ones but I manage with the normal barriers it works ok

    Hi!! We are here and everyday so far when we come in to the cheesy station we get stuck and can’t get out. There are doors like for tickets but we don’t need to ride again, we just need to get out to head to Disney. I hope this makes sense. We are coming from Paris to Disney.

    • @FairyGodmother
      @FairyGodmother  5 років тому

      You have to put your train ticket in again to exit the station. If you lost it just stand by the Disability doors and when someone else goes through you can follow them if you are fast.
      Keep hold of your ticket and use it to exit station

    Approx how long does it take to get from the eurostar onto the train RER B? Looking at a late night arrival at Gare du Nord and want to make sure we would have enough time to get onto the RER train

    Can you confirm you basically buy two tickets and that will get you there and back? There is no times on the ticket you can just make the return journey once?

    • @FairyGodmother
      @FairyGodmother  4 роки тому +2

      Yes the tickets have no date on them. I buy two and use one for the return journey.

  • @millielovehearts
    @millielovehearts 3 роки тому +1

    So if there are 3 adults travelling if we buy 6 that will be for there and back from gare du nord to Disney?
    Also do you have to pay for kids? If I decide to get a taxi do you know roughly how much it is? Thanks the video is very good.

    • @FairyGodmother
      @FairyGodmother  3 роки тому +1

      Yes you can buy six tickets they are not dated. Kids have to pay but I don’t know how much or what age counts as a child fare.
      I have got an Uber from Gare Du Nord to Disneyland it was about
      €70 it’s a 40 minute drive

    Hi how long does train take from chalet lrs halles to marne le vallee - Disney. Also is train a double decker? Gonna attempt on our next visit hopefully!

    • @FairyGodmother
      @FairyGodmother  3 роки тому

      Hello!
      That part takes about 35 mins and yes the train is a double decker and I personally love to sit up top and take in the views on the way!
      You can’t miss Disneyland because it’s the last stop on the line. (RER line A).
      As a little tip I advise you to make notes in your phone.
      That way you can check your phone notes as you go in case you have a memory lapse or panic on the way!

    • @millielovehearts
      @millielovehearts 3 роки тому +1

      Hiya yes will take screenshot and notes! Just to be on safe side! Is it safe? As watched another video and they said lots of pickpockets around and don’t talk to anyone! I suppose just have your wits about you like in London really?

    • @FairyGodmother
      @FairyGodmother  3 роки тому

      @@millielovehearts I agree don’t talk to people at the station because sometimes dodgy people can offer to “help”’you buy your ticket then they just harass you until you give them money. This has never happened to me but I heard about it. Pickpockets are the same as any city or tourist area just keep your possessions close to you and your purse somewhere it can’t easily be grabbed. Again I have never been pick pocketed and I have been on this route so many times I have lost count!

    Hi, Many thanks for this video its so informative, we got caught out last year when a French man came over and started to take over the process as i was not sure what to click on and then having to get money out to pay him back from the cash machine in the station, which i then discovered did not work at DLRP but luckily the attendant let us through, so i wanted to make sure that i get it spot on this time. Just wanted to confirm that if i wanted to get return tickets would i just need to click on round trip and then Pay?

    • @FairyGodmother
      @FairyGodmother  3 роки тому

      So glad to be helpful!
      To get a return ticket you just select 2 tickets. The tickets are not dated so put one aside for the journey back
