Had to laugh when you said we are getting more snow in UK than we have in past .... complete bollocks... we have hardly any just a couple of inches up here in the North and a slight dusting in South if any at all.
Nowhere as bad as we used to get in the past ... 1948, 1963, 1982, 2010 ... in those years the snow was so deep it buried cars for days and my village was cut off in 1982 for 3 days even though it was a main road.
We are getting less snow as the years go on not more... the biggest problem we are getting here is more flooding as more and more houses are built on natural flood plains... areas like the Somerset Levels never used to exist on ancient maps because it was all under water or marshland... but people are still surprised when it floods every hundred years or so.🙄

Yup I agree 100% that the government of all the countries should step up especially here in the 🇵🇭. Most Filipinos if they haven’t lived abroad don’t seem to care about the environment and their surroundings. I often see them throwing trash everywhere. I live in a nice village with home owners fees and I always call my HOA to complain 😂 I clean up and do my share but I get so frustrated when I see plastic bags flying around. One or two people can’t do it alone everyone needs to help and pick up these rubbish. We need to really care more about this world we’re living in.

Yeap you are correct and something has to be done by us Filipinos. Respecting and loving nature and animals should start from home and continued in school, my experience is that i have never heard from anyone talking about it during my kindergarten/elementary/highschool/college years. Nakakahiya na mas concern pa ang ibang lahi instead of us. I get annoyed/frustrated too when i see trash where it should not be....mahirap kausapin kasi ang nakakaraming pinoys, either di sila nakakaintindi or ayaw umintindi. Hopefully merong advocate ng animals and nature sa gobyerno na kasingtapang ni Magellan😊.

Christmas treats for Story & Poppy are so much fun to see and leave a smile and chuckle indeed!! J your talk on the surrounding area you live and how the weather can effect your lives and the world is well said and so very true. We here in Canada on Vancouver Island, Victoria, BC, see our weather changing and across Canada and the world. Your video captured a realization and that being prepared is the key!! We here on the Vancouver Island and the West coast of Canada also experience earthquakes and Tsunamis. Where we live in our community there is a Emergency preparedness workbook which helps one be aware and learn what to expect when these events happen. Thanks J for speaking on the climate and what each of us can do to make a difference in our world today. Keep doing what your doing, your vlogs are amazing, real, and so much fun to see and learn new and wonderful places, food, people and so much more. ❤❤👍🌲🇨🇦

I lived here in the Philippines for 57years and I’ve never experienced tsunami personally. In my research, the last tsunami was 1976, also in Mindanao…I was 10yo. Reality check you’ll hear/read infos why this is happening & for sure there will be sleepless nights, worries, anxieties…eventually you’ve forgotten to live a peaceful & joyful life. I’ve read also that all of these calamities can also be a natural phenomenon if our planet earth is trying to evolve & grow into a more beautiful place to live in. We just have to do the things we need to do to be safe.

Looks like you only have about 2-3m between the house and the highest storm waves- probably not enough for a Tsunami.
Oh and the best VPN I can recommend is the TOR network- o provider you need to trust not to record your activities!

Don't forget super Typhoon Haiyan in 2013 that was a card with five wins at 195 miles an hour that killed over 6000 people and that hot storm said reaching 20 feet and 20 foot waves can come over and crash into your house while super typhoon Rai killed over 400 people in Mindanao and Cebu and super Typhoon Rai was a category five winds were at 160 miles an hour but the problem is with the Philippines why gets so much damage to devastation is basically the poverty in the Philippines there's lots of poverty in the Philippines especially in the Minidanao region and the vysias region and probably eastern parts of Luzon as well she got a thing when you look at siargao Island is it rich I know you probably live in a touristy area but in the non-touristy part you can see the builders are not that equipped to withstand storms and earthquakes and yet again the Philippines were caught off guard when super typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines and in the Philippines see where you get lots of typhoons and most of the more intense that water there is basically a boiler because the heat so much that you end up getting a strong typhoon or even a super typhoon within the likes of super typhoon Haiyan and rai

Hi Story, like you, I was only 7 when I first experienced an earthquake. Back then, the Pinatubo volcano erupted. I was so mad at my classmate behind me because I thought he was pushing my armchair. It was Language quiz in the afternoon when the powerful earth tremors came, so the only thing I got to bring home with me after all the panic was my jumbo pencil. Life as a student had been disrupted shortly after and we had to contend esp. with the frequent aftershocks, some feeble, some very strong. I vividly recall the suffocating sulfur air and the rain of ash and rocks---which I collected happily because I thought the crystals in it were diamonds but in fact were only phenocrysts. It was a devastating time, but we made it. The Philippines is within the ring of fire. On top of that, the threat of climate change is imminent as your dad has just brightlined. Consequently, I hope you and your parents will continue staying vigilant, resilient, and ecologically-ethical. Thank you and sending you blessings of protection, as always.

Why blame littering trash on Chinese and Japanese shipping, when everyone knows Phillipines does NOT even try to get their citizens to "quit littering"!
Go to most any creek, river, inlet and you'll see trash everywhere, this sadly is the truth.
Check out their streets, "most" waterways, littering in SE Asia is simply NOT given the time of day!
As for earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis, you CHOOSE to not only live in the "ring of fire", but even make excuses to actually build a house in an area that is "very" prone to foul weather yearly!
hint":more typhoons hit the area where you live that ALL the other places on earth combined!
We all know that "plastic littering" in SE Asia is a given, watching your family continually pick up most plastic trash off the beach you live on is heart warming, but..."when" you eventually move to your near dreamhouse inland, NOBODY will be picking up the trash on the beach where you presently reside!
It hasn't gone unnoticed that everytime there's a big super-storm in your area, your wife gets terrified, even your dog scared, but either your egos or naivity won't let you move and build and reside in an area where it's safer.
As for "learning the language", we've following you NOT learning "much" of the language in Thailand, Portugal and now Phillipines.
Please never the idea you are a "local" in any of these 3rd world countries, you're simply a Brit with an ATM card..
We know you guys are intelligent, but common sense is something that is learned mainly thru experience and failures and successes.
    .all the best...

Such drama queens not one but two vlogs on earthquakes that are nowhere near them. The aftershocks are completely normal, further in spite of the BS Mindanao and the Philippines is constantly having small tremors and earthquakes it is part of everyday life in the Philippines. As for "Tsunami's coming because of our impact" we have ZERO impact on volcanic and earthquake activity, it's a part of nature.

@@amorchika1251Envious of Vloggers being drama queens for click bait, I don't think so. I just get irritated by this sort of rubbish when I have close friends in Lapu Lapu city that had their home destroyed in Odette and lost everything and I have some other friends on Negros that had multiple family members die in Odette. So this sort of posturing for clicks leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. Making a huge drama about totally normal tremors that are located nowhere near you and warnings for a tsunami that is less than 30cm in height is just rubbish click bait for people that live in Europe that don't have any idea what that reality is like.

    • @Shattered65

Oh and odette, check where it traversed, directly in my town Sibonga. For sure if I tell you now that everytime I hear strong winds and heavy rains, I can't help being worried,.yoi will surely say that I'm such drama queen. Be in Mindanao right now, I dare you.
