Then you do it for all other gyms.

Wow, that was a long climb up that rock wall. He was really stuck between a rock and a hard place on that one, but he had the stones to persevere and in the end he’s standing tall on that mountain.

I don’t know when this was recorded, but I recently discovered Jan and seeing that he was at less than 400 twitch subs is amazing since now he’s on attempt 53 and is sitting at just under 4500. Quality content creator

Each hit has like 35 power to compensate. The average power is similar, it’s just less RNG.
I believe it deals more damage per hit though.

About that Team Aqua grunt on Dewford... I hate his Marshtomp. That thing's holding a Focus Band, and when I played, it hung on through Focus Band twice in a row, before landing a critical Ice Punch that froze my Ivysaur, causing me to lose the battle.
I’d never thought of doing a nuzlocke until I saw this channel and just finished my first one! Heartbreaking losing the moms who carried you early on but made the games a hell of a lot better
I have never seen a man with so little emotion other than being so based, show so much emotion in a gym fight.
The amount of emotion here - unparalleled.
The dedication you have, even against all odds, makes it even more satisfying when you succeed
I find that psyduck w/Cheri berry lead is pretty decent if you don't get kabuto or a rock type. You can usually manip the nosepass not to explode by hitting bubblebeam turn one, taking one recoverable T-wave, disabling T-wave turn 2 (slight coin flip but AI is healthy from berry and sees you outspeed so it will usually spam for para), if they went for T-wave you kill turn 3. Oblivious or female suck protects from attract so it a 1/4 chance for self-destruct but again, because of speed AI usually doesn't. This is really optimal because you'll have healthy duck and luvdisc for shuckle allowing you to disable rollout and spam charm. If you're lucky and you get oddish you can use a toxic absorb pivot as well
God, continuous 18 hours stream of a non-consistent battle. I have no idea how you keep that up.

I got super lucky for this Gym on my second attempt. If you get a Sunkern off of route 103, they come with an early Sun Stone, which I used to get a Sunflora specifically for helping deal with Roxanne, Brawly and even Wattson simply for the resist.

I just wanted to let you know that you're the reason I started nuzlockes around a month ago(or less). So far, I've beaten a fire red, sword, and emerald nuzlocke all on my first attempt(I'm using items in battles on switch mode) and I'm currently on a black 2 nuzlocke.
Try playing set mode next time, it makes the game so much interesting imo.
Nuzlocke with switch mode is cake.

I like that Grovyle stay alive for a very long time, and was probably the MVP of the Roxanne fight but the gecko was not going to take down brawly all alone at level 19
His sub-goal was at 400 at the beginning of this challenge in January.,, His sub-goal is around 5000 and he's hitting the elite 4 now. Good for him

I love the fact this guy clearly enjoys what he's doing, it was so fun to watch and it got me really invested. Hardcore Nuzlocke videos from this guy are my favourite on UA-cam currently, the battles are very interesting but I'm not into watching the out-of-battle strategising so I don't watch the streams. A series/chronological collection of compilations from this game would be amazing. Please PC, for us ADHD ridden UA-cam plebs with no patience for Twitch, do us a solid. This content is amazing.

Man you should totally go for the rocket ROM, it is great, you'd have some good times playing it. It is not so hard since it focus on the plot. Anyway, you could change some rules to fit, steal the first pokémon from the first player on each route rather then wild encounter cause you are a rocket. There is a mandatory defeat early on and a mandatory catch later on which could be ignored for the sake of the game, but otherwise I'd love to see a nuzzlock from it.
