Wow amazing please never delete this as a local myself born in 1993 this is the best in-depth video I seen about this event , it has even more aircraft and value for money at £5 back then adult from the original poster I saw at 2021 event than what you get at RIAT today for 3,X more the price even with Inflation costs ! Just imagine how good it would look today with modern cameras !
Mike thanks for sharing this. I was already serving in the RAF and stationed at Abingdon from 1990 until its closure in 1992. On the day of the Air Show, I drew a very short straw and was volunteered as one of the barmen in the Airmen's Tent and spent the entire show pulling pints with no view! This is the first time I've seen the Show itself - very much appreciated :)
Thanks for sharing this, I was there too and thoroughly enjoyed the airshow and flypast, I was 23 at the time and now I am, oops 50+ :)....that was the only time in my life that I ever saw a dh mossie fly....I had applied to join the RAF at that airshow
Remember this Airshow. It was the very last airshow i ever done in the RAF,I left August 1991.Yes some memories to be sure.thankyou to the one that did this show, damm good, thankyou.
Thanks for uploading this! I was just a small child when I went to this show, but I remember the Vulcan flying right over us, and the Harrier hovering, and the noise of the Battle of Britain flyover. Unforgettable.
Shame really so much of the old site now demolished the airtrafficn tower and moet of the airfiled buildings long gone and now the water tower has been demolished

Very cool
I remember this show. Wow it was good.
I was there and looking to see if I might spot yself amongst all the bodies. Also thought I clocked one of my old uni flatmates in the crowd.
I was also there so thanks for this. It's strange to replay those memories for real after 26 years
Fond memories of days gone past. I was there!

guess what, they're turning it into a garden village soon!
