😻 So glad your kitty is better. We had to help one of our fur babies cross the rainbow bridge this week and it has been so hard 😢. They truly are apart of our family. So happy he is recovering ❤
First, your hair is 🔥🔥🔥! I love it! I’m so happy that Fergus is doing better and that you are too. ❤️ I love your fabric choice for Joyous Day. So pretty. I have several Blue Flower patterns in my stash, so count me in on your birthday SAL! 🥰 😻
Beautiful stitches. I so enjoy watching you. So glad you kitty is better and I know how scary it is to have your fur baby ill. Take care and see you next time.❤
So glad Fergus has recovered! 😻Don’t bear yourself up for not catching. It would be so much easier if they could tell us what’s wrong. Great video. Always enjoy seeing what you are stitching. The Rose Quaker Sampler is so beautiful! Hugs❤
Can't wait to see your Rose Quaker come together, Brijin. That's such a beautiful chart - those colors. I have it in my stash too - someday! :) So glad that Fergis is home and recovering! 😻
😻, I love your floss tube channel! As a middle aged woman, it’s exciting to see young women embracing my favorite crafts! Fun fact, I’m sitting here with the Rosebud sampler all kitted up from years ago. I’m tempted!
Aww, that's so kind! It's been super uplifting to see how many other young people are starting flosstubes too! And ooh! I haven't heard of that piece! But there's nothing more satisfying than starting something you kitted up a while ago!
You always pick such amazing fabrics! Love the Oh Joyous Day choice. I’m having so much fun stitching it, and learning some specialty stitches. Glad Fergus is on the mend, nice to see him hopping around in the background! Love the Rose Quaker sampler. Adding to my (never-ending!) wishlist. And I’ll definitely join in on the birthday SAL! I’ll have to see what I want to stitch 😁 😻
Thank you Katie! I'm having so much fun with our SAL too!! These springy florals are just such a mood lifter! I'm pumped I finally found a piece to stitch for the Best Bunnies SAL too! So excited!💖
I have had that pattern for forever and literally just kitted it up this weekend, a birthday start for you is perfect. If you haven't seen it stitched check out Stitching In the Land of Good Enough. She just got it back from the framer and it's stunning 😻 so glad to hear Fergus is doing so much better ❤️
I’ve been thinking about you and Fergus over the past couple weeks and I’m so happy to know you are both doing well! Love seeing your videos pop up in my feed. I get a jolt of excited every time! 😻
I love this Jane Austen pattern! I purchased it when it first came out and can't wait to stitch it!! 😻 I am so glad Fergus is okay, and I hear you on bottling emotions and having one thing set you off..... Also, its so nice to hear someone understand about what I like to call comfort reads. For me it Persuasion by Jane Austen.
It'll stitch up so fast! You're gonna love it for sure! Oh girl I love a good comfort read! I have specific parts of the year that I always reread the same series!😂
😻Glad your cat is feeling better. I use markup for stats more than stitching. I think it is a great program, I use scroll frames and it is easier to put the paper pattern on the frame. I still load my patterns into Markup just to track stitches and %.
😻So glad Fergus is feeling better! That sounds like it was traumatic for everyone! I’ve had my eye on that MFE piece and I’m glad to hear it’s pretty easy to stitch. I’ve never stitched a Quaker design before. Love the fabric you chose!
Prayers for your kitty. I have been through that before and know it ia scary! I LOVE Jane Austen so cannot wait to get my hands on that Bennett Sister pattern!
I’m so glad your kitty cat is doing good. I saw them playing in the background lol. Beautiful project as always from an even more beautiful human. Can we all acknowledge how absolutely amazing the Nessie fabric is for that project! Wow 🤩 it looks SO good. That needle minder is so pretty. I know you’re not obsessed with 28ct but that purple fabric is sooooo good with the floss. I am just obsessing over that project! I need to go buy it lol. Love you girl!
Thank you for inspiring the Nessie purchase, I've been trying to find a piece to stitch on that for so long and am glad I finally found the perfect one! Honestly, I'm kind of loving the 28 count right now, it's nice to have something that's a little bit looser of a weave for those moments where my concentration isn't as high or I'm not with my BenQ lamp, lol!
Good to see you again, and so glad your cat is doing better! 😻 I love your plans for the O Joyous Day piece - I can't wait to see the quote you chart instead. Thanks for the book recs; I, too, think Astrid was a better read than the first book in that series. I hope things stay quiet in your world over these next few weeks! Happy stitching :)
We really were just on the same wavelength last week with our pride and prejudice stitch and bons is roten 😂 I’m really loving that MFE quaker project, I cannot wait to see it all finished 😍
I find most all Pride and Prejudice and their variations to be awesome I love the zombie movie and books. I love the series show, the movies. And I love the variation books my fave is Darcy Chooses and that series by Gianna Thomas, you should check her out if you haven’t read. 5:31
My cat had this same problem! And once they have it they are likely to get it again at which time they recommend a stent. This was almost 8 years ago. I did research and couldn’t afford the vet level food as I was in school so I have used purina urinary pro plan dry food and their wet food (Morning treat) and I have had no problems since. All the cats eat the same food plus Amazon delivers on monthly schedule/ subscription service making it even cheaper. It’s common in grocery stores and pet stores too so it’s not a food you will have to look hard for nor has it disappeared from the shelves. Side note: the chickens now eat it cause we substituted it for a couple of days when their feed ran out and they then ended up picking out the chicken feed and only eating the cat food.
🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️ I also have the most expensive “free” cat in the world!! It started about a year and a half ago when I got 2 little kittens from a shelter (they have to have a friend…right?!). Then it was kitten poop apocalypse at my home once they got home. Of course them being so little they went straight to the vet. Both had X-rays, visits, all the expensive things (turned out they just had a virus). THEN my Luna (ie problem child) developed a rare tooth disease when her adult teeth popped out (juvenile periodontitis). 2 vet visits (for a 2nd opinion), a consultation to the vet dentist, and a surgery to remove all her teeth at 8 months old!!! $3000 just for the surgery alone! - not counting the other visits!! (And I had that credit card almost paid off 😩😩😩). But you have to do what you have to do when you accept the responsibility of a pet!! The update on Lunas condition - it’s been about a year since her teeth were removed. Once they were out her body was able to normalize and fight off the herpes that most kittens can grow out of. She eats both wet and dry food like a champ!! She has put on several extra pounds and has become quite “fluffy” 😂. The only issue she really has is if she eats too fast she will throw it up. Otherwise she is doing great! So anyway, you have a fellow member of the most expensive free cat group!! I love how you have a text chat with all the stitchy friends. I wish I could have something like that!! One day…when I get up the nerve to do a flosstube!! Also 😻
Oh my goodness, that's wild! I'm glad Luna is doing well after such a saga! It's so crazy being a pet owner sometimes, they're lucky they're so darn cute!
Beautiful work and my cat Lewis had a a blockage like that and he makes crystals in his urine from food allergy and he has been on special food since. Big hugs
I absolutely LOVE your choice for Oh Joyous Day. I've stitched the first row and now I want to stitch it on blue! Your stitching choices are so beautiful. Thank you for sharing. 😻 book rec (I prefer fantasy) - FREE on unlimited kindle is City of Brass -- so good and also FREE on unlimited kindle is Before the Coffee Gets Cold (short one). Hope you enjoy them. audiobooks: ANYTHING by Leigh Bardugo. I just listened to Ninth House and Hell Bent (a duology) so, so good. A wizard's guide to defensive baking by T Kingfisher.
Aww, thank you! I'm also obsessed with the blue fabric! I've heard amazing things about City of Brass, I'll definitely be sure to check that out! I couldn't get into Ninth House, I read over half and it just wasn't for me! But I've got Six of Crows on my list for this year!
😘 I love you, friend! I just finished my audio reread of ACOTAR this morning. It’s so fascinating looking at Nesta and Rhys through a lens of knowing how things turn out…realizing they really weren’t that bad in ACOTAR after all 😂
Love you too girl! And RIGHT? It's nuts having the prior knowledge. I think every SJM book benefits from reading it twice--once for initial thoughts and twice for all the details and easter eggs you missed the first time!
Oooh I will totally join you for your birthday SAL! My birthday is March 16th only three days later! The best people are born in March😉. I absolutely love Nightingale from Mirabelia. I keep telling myself I don't need another pretty lady chart but I think I am going to need to cave on this one. Blueware is exactly what I thought of too when I saw her.
Glad the cat is feeling better. If you need book recs I have many! Lol. Kresley Cole’s Immortal After Dark series is amazing! There’s about 20 in the series so it is a commitment but they are well worth it.
Thank goodness Fergus is on the mend! I am still deciding whether I want to start Night Walked Down or the Moonlight Sampler by The Blue Flower. I think I have said before, I will happily stitch all The Blue Flower's Designs! Goodreads is yelling at me for being behind schedule already. ☹ Luckily I have some middle grade and quick reads on the horizon. And one day I will get to ACOTAR! My favourite recent read was The Psychology of Time Travel by Kate Mascarenhas. I love time travel reads and this one looked at it in a unique way that I really enjoyed. 😻😻
I'm totally going to be doing the Moonlight Sampler this autumn, I think! I absolutely love that one too! I'm reading the Lore Olympus graphic novels to catch up since they're crazy fast to read!😂
I would love a video of how you use the floss drops- like how do you get just one thread off of it without pulling all the thread off the floss drop first?
Actually, if you look up Atom Heart Cross Stitch on Instagram, she’s got a few reels dedicated to floss prep and showing how to use the bobbin drops and thread hearts! The method she uses is what I use exactly, and she even shows how to use your needle to grab a single strand off the drop! If you can’t find them, shoot me a DM on Instagram and I’ll forward them your way! It would just be repetitive if I made one lol!
I just started using Markup as well! I never thought I would make the switch from paper patterns but I love the stats it keeps! I think on my bigger pieces it might take me a little more getting used to since those patterns are multiple pages my brain will have to do a little extra work
My favorite part about Markup so far is that it takes the multiple page patterns and makes them one big chart! So no more counting page breaks and it's so much less work! I only started using it last night and I'm already obsessed! Glad you're coming over to the dark side with digital patterns!😂
😻I’m so happy to hear Fergis is on the mend. That had to be very scary! We have 17 of our own cats and many fosters looking for homes + I feed about 30 feral cats every night.
Cathy, you are my hero! I have 7 cats and am currently feeding just a couple of Feral’s daily. I also have a couple of cat houses with heated beds in them for the winter. It’s been a brutal winter.
Yay for healthy kitty! I would actually fight a real person for a piece of that fabric you scored in the Friday night fight - like full on eye scratching, hair pulling, face slapping…. Hahaha it’s gorgeous!
My old cat was prone to urinary problems, he had to be on that special expensive food so he didn’t get blocked up. So glad Fergus is feeling better, we thought our cat Odi had a difficult hairball this week but turned out he ate part of my daughter’s shoe and it wasn’t sitting well for some reason 🙄 it’s so scary and upsetting when they are in pain and you have no clue what’s going on or how to help. My plans for the year are already gone for the same reason, I love stitch/start a longs, it’s just so fun! I love the more modern romance novels for a quick fun read, though I feel like all the covers are starting to blur together with the illustrated style that’s popular now.
I am so happy Fergis is doing better! My cat Ferdy has had this happen a few times. I said the same thing as you! Must expensive free cat ever! Do you have to have him on special food? 😻😻
I'm actually transitioning him onto a wet food diet, then I'll be transitioning to raw feeding! The specialty vet food is just out of my price range right now!
Glad to hear Fergus is doing better, Brijin. That must've been very stressful! 😻I love Night Walked Down, and I'm looking forward to stitching it. What fabric are you stitching it on?
It totally was! I'm actually not sure right now! I custom ordered some BeStitchMe fabric to be custom dyed for it, but I'm not sure if it will get here in time! I think I'll be going to my LNS this weekend to see if they have something I can grab as a backup! I also have some 40 ct Elegant from Fortnight Fabrics that might be pretty, but I need to do a floss toss to confirm it'll look good!
@@TheMuseumStitcher Elegant would be pretty with that pattern! Looking forward to seeing what choose. Also, your hair looks great! Did you get new highlights?
😻Glad Fergus is on the mend. I was always a mess when there was an issue with our golden retriever. Love the fabric you scored from BeStitch Me. Any progress on you Sewcialites quilt? You haven’t mentioned it lately.
You know, I haven't worked on that in a hot minute! I really need to catch back up, I just haven't had an open saturday to sit down and knock out some quilting in a while, but I miss it!
We have 2 pure bred dogs and one rescue. We always say our rescue is our most expensive dog. She has had 2 emergency surgeries. I'm glad your cat is recovering well. It made me laugh when you said he was the most expensive free cat.
Good Morning Everyone ❤️ have a great day beautiful floss and fabric. Oh Joyous Day ❤️ InezArnetta 🌹

Oof poor guy!! I totally agree, not knowing what's wrong is so scary! I'll be sending thoughts for your kitty!
@@TheMuseumStitcher he’s doing much better 🧡
Love your channel! Ih i noticed at 25 min. Your family has the same washer (song) as me. LG right? Lol 😊
Lol yep! I thought it was hilarious that my airpods picked up the sound when I was editing!🤣
So glad Fergus is better!! ❤My free kitties always cost a lot🤣
We have 2 pure bred dogs and one rescue. We always say our rescue is our most expensive dog. She has had 2 emergency surgeries. I'm glad your cat is recovering well. It made me laugh when you said he was the most expensive free cat.
When something is wrong or not right w/ my fur balls, I am a basket case. Looks like all is well on all counts.... Good.
Everytime I see a stray cat I yell “free cat” and my husband chases after me yelling “free cats aren’t free”
I meant to ask if you'd read any Susanna Kearsley? She is a museum curator and writes historical fiction.
Ooh I haven't, but I'll definitely check her out! Thank you!
